The Bar
Corinthian has what is widely regarded as the finest Victorian interior in the UK and boasts five levels of bars, restaurant and celebration spaces within stunning surroundings.
These include the breathtaking domed Lite Bar, the traditional Scottish Restaurant, Late Night Piano Bar, Lite Club, The Slouch Bar, Private Dining Rooms and a variety of differently sized contemporary meeting and celebration rooms all under the one central Glasgow roof.
The Event:
The Cocktail Making experience takes place in the famed ‘Piano Bar' and is designed to be a fantastically fun event. Cocktail making is guaranteed to entertain and encourage interaction between guests while teaching them the rudiments of mixing and, of course, sampling the results!
Format:
Your group will first be introduced to the basics that go behind making a first-class tipple. Cocktail trivia, history and methodology will all be explained to get your group in the mood. Guests will then be split into teams and asked to observe cocktail demonstrations carefully. Afterwards volunteers from each team will be asked to make the cocktails against the clock. The efforts will be marked out of ten. Some cocktails will require two people to make them, and there will be several rounds, (using different drinks/methods). Teams will also be able to participate in a flair round.
Now it's up to you. In teams you will blend from the ingredients available to create your own wonderful tasting concoctions and name them accordingly. From the sublime to the disgusting, your efforts will be judged by the professionals.
