Interactive cocktail making events are a superb option if you are looking to draw teams or departments together. Whether you hold them as a stand alone event, an addition to a conference or to entertain staff or clients in the evening, they include everyone in a fun environment.
By dividing the attendees into teams, people sticking to their usual cliques is avoided and you can encourage mingling between departments and levels of seniority. It’s also a great bonding exercise if you have people from different companies.
There are wide number of different formats available, depending on budget, venue and time available, so if this package isn’t perfect for you, your account manager can suggest tweaks and amendments.
Also bear in mind that we are happy to provide ‘virgin’ cocktails for those who don’t drink.
Format
You will start the event with a champagne cocktail reception. Your bartender will then introduce you to all the equipment you’ll be using.
They will then demonstrate how to make two very different cocktails for you to sample.
Next is a demonstration of how to make a Cosmopolitan, a shaken cocktail made from vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Concentrate, because you’ll be making and drinking your own attempt next!
The bartender will then demonstrate how to make the perfect Mojito and a Japanese Slipper, which you all get to sample.
Next it's shot class. You'll be shown how to make a B52 (a layered shot). You'll then get to make and drink your own attempt.
Then it’s on to the team event where the group is divided, each team creating and naming their own cocktail before taking part in a fun cocktail quiz.
The cocktails and quizzes will be judged by the bartender and the winning team chosen.
