Dating back to 1322, this impressive Italianate mansion is an historic setting.

Down Hall Country House Hotel, one of the largest meeting and events centers in Bishop's Stortford on the Essex and Hertfordshire border, features 26 diverse meeting and event rooms, with a maximum conference capacity of 200 guests.

It is a Palladian style villa with vast grounds and breathtaking views over Richmond park.  Parkstead House has been beautifully restored and now provides an ideal venue for meetings, conferences and private events.
 
Conferencing and meeting facilities
Parkstead House offers the flexibility of altering the room layouts to suit your needs so regardless of your group size there will be the perfect space for you.  The Chambers Suite offers a range of interconnecting light and airy rooms which are perfect for meetings.  All rooms are equipped with AV equipment; plasma screen with built in data projector.  There are 2 modern lecture theatres which are great for conferences and presentations.  In the summer months a number of additional seminar rooms are available, as Parkstead House is situated in the grounds of Whitelands College.

Dining
Parkstead House is stunning, and the Manresa Hall make sit ideal for dinner dances for up to 150 people.  It's pristine lawns and the unique backdrop of the building itself is also a great location for marquees.  It also has a range of other spaces in which to host corporate entertainment and private dining experiences.
