4X4 Land Rover Driving:
If you get a bit stressed if when stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, here's the perfect opportunity to vent some frustration and take a drive on the wild side. Instructors can take a maximum of 4 people around a specially built track inside one of the beefy Land Rover Defender 110 vehicles. Participants will be led through the various obstacles by the instructor before they are given the chance to tackle them on their own.
The 11 acre driving field has been dug out by proper Earth-moving equipment and filled with water - and don't think you'll be leisurely cruising over a few shallow puddles! The water often reaches half-way up the door of the vehicle and the ditches can reach 30ft in width - perfect conditions for testing out these rugged machines.
**Drivers must have a drivers licence.
Format:
Instructors will judge your driving skills as you traverse through the banks, steep inclines and deep trenches, and drivers will get approximately 10-15 minutes behind the wheel. Although mentally and physically straining, this activity is completely safe and it is impossible to tip the 4X4's over. Trust us - we've tried!

Zippy, fast and fun, these 400cc Rage Buggies are the ultimate for those thirsting for a bit of speed and competition. Drivers will negotiate a superb 1000m dirt track that features jumps, hairpins, tyre stacks, run-off areas and tricky corners. In case that doesn't seem like enough of a challenge, the track is also wetted down by an internal sprinkler system to ensure the corners are nice and slippery!
Safety is still a major consideration on the track, and a traffic light system has been put in place to ensure drivers are fully aware of what is happening around them. The Rage Buggies themselves have also been kitted out with full roll cages, netted windows, a cut-off safety switch and a 4-point safety harness. Marshals will also be on-hand to make sure everything runs smoothly on the track.
Format:
Two Rage Buggies will race on the track at the one time, each buggy placed half a lap apart from each other for safety reasons. Drivers will each complete 10 laps, their efforts timed to determine a winner at the completion of proceedings. Each driver will get approximately 10-12 minutes on the track.
