Overview:
Set in sixty acres of beautiful woodlands, this superb multi-activity centre provides a serene setting for your corporate activity day. Groups will be divided into teams of approximately 6 people as they are rotated around the various outdoor activities on offer, with the central activity at this superb British Championship venue being clay shooting.
Clay Pigeon Shooting:
A peaceful wooded backdrop provides the ideal place to try out this exciting and challenging sport. With CPSA trained instructors on hand to guide shooters, it won't be long before you get the hang of hitting the clay targets. Each participant will have 2 practice shots before progressing through a series of 12 stands, taking 10 shots at each. The stands will fire the clays from a multitude of positions to test your shooting skills, each mimicking the flight of different birds (for example: duck, pigeon or woodcock).
Quad Bikes:
These are not the timid machines found at the majority of activity centres: Honda Big Red quads have a massive 450cc engine with a 5-speed gearbox. The course is a specially designed, coned off-road obstacle course where you will learn to maneuver these monsters in a timed competition with points deducted for hitting obstacles.
Crossbow:
Live out your Robin Hood fantasies by grabbing one of these fantastic crossbows and firing off a series of arrows at high velocity. Coloured circular targets will be set-up and competitors will be scored on their accuracy. Requiring patience, concentration and a steady hand, this graceful sport is a great way to test a variety of skills.
Air Rifles:
A fully functional air rifle range is located on-site and features a number of challenging targets. A maximum of 5 people can take to the shooting range at once, firing pellets at the animal and human-shaped targets. Pretend you're hunting game as you prowl through the wooded area and fire pellets at the strategically placed animal targets. Animal lovers need not worry though: the animal targets pop straight back up again after they've been hit!
Muzzle Shooting:
This is the perfect option for those who like things a little bit ‘old school'. Taking an old-fashioned muzzle gun, participants will be required to load gunpowder into the barrel with a rod before firing their shots. Beware though: these rifles have a real kick to them and can knock you back a few feet once fired! Shooters usually take a series of shots at a tree, but they can be fired at clays for those who want an extra degree of difficulty!
Indoor Laser Clay Shooting:
A top option if the weather is a bit average outside, this allows participants to test their marksmanship from the safety of indoors. A game console will project a clay shooting game onto a wall where players will aim to shoot as many targets as possible. A selection of other games is also available for those looking for something other than clay shooting.
Zip Wire:
Get your adrenaline raised with this thrilling option that is not for the fainthearted! You will be hoisted up 80ft in a harness before launching yourself off on a wire, sailing over the trees to land in a clearing 55 metres away. Please note: this option is only available in the afternoon of a full day of activities.
All-Terrain Off-Road Buggies:
Zip about the rough and ready terrain of this site in one of these cracking off-road buggies. Drivers will take to a specially designed track where they will learn to maneuver these powerful vehicles.
Hall Hire:
Two separate rooms are available for parties, functions and meetings. ‘The Lodge' features a crackling log fire and is perfect for smaller groups of approximately 30. ‘The Woodland Room' is suitable for groups of around 200, and both rooms feature fully licensed bars.
Casino:
Available at an additional cost, this is perfect for those looking to add a little bit of night time excitement to their corporate day. Croupiers, casino tables and chips will be in full effect as your team loosens up with a drink and indulges in a spot of gambling.

Half day: Approximately 9.30am - 1pm.
