Event Overview
This one will settle all those pub arguments about who is the best driver. No hiding as part of a team in the grand prix event, each person is on their own as you separate the Schumachers from the Sunday drivers. The venue has electronic lap timing to enhance each race and ramp up the competition element – if you fail to win the race you can always get as much satisfaction by setting the fastest lap time.
Race Format
20 minute qualifying heat for grid positions
1, 1 ½ or 2 hour races are available. For the 1 hour you have two to a team, 3 for the 1 ½ hour race and 4 for the 2 hour race. Trophies for top three and a bottle of bubbly for the winner.
The Track
The premier track in North Wales, this 800m circuit includes chicanes, s-bends and a long straight.
The Karts
Twin engined pro karts with a top speed of around 65mph, some speed when your backside is 2” from the track.
Food
Burgers and jacket potatoes are available but notice needs to be given in advance.
