Overview:
There's nothing quite like a bit of rivalry with your friends when it comes to Karting. Nice guys do come last. So, the question is, do you have the competitive instinct and controlled aggression needed to finish first, or are you happy to look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes the chequered flag?
The Karts:
The kart's are single engine 4-stroke biz corporate kart's. They are capable of speed's up to 50mph, that's pretty fast when your bum is only 1" from the tarmac.
The Race Format:
The race is conducted in an endurance format. You will be split into teams of 3 or 4 and the team with the most laps at the end of the session is the winner. There are usually 8 karts on the track at any one time. This type of endurance racing allows drivers to choose how long they spend on the circuit. It’s all about strategy, pit stops and teamwork.The Track:
The circuit is a newly laid 400 metre full tarmac outdoor Pro kart track. Incorporating uphill and downhill sections with a tunnel and a flyover bridge along with some challenging corners - it makes for a very exciting venue to race your friends, enemies or to entertain your clients. Other amenities include a large free car park, toilets and trackside catering.
