Overview:
Rev heads will go wild at this, the UK's largest indoor karting track. Stretching over 900 metres, the track features tunnels and an outdoor section to make sure even the most hardened drivers will have their skills put to the test. This venue also features electronic lap timing to enhance each race and ramp up the competition element; if you fail to win the race you can always get some satisfaction by burning rubber and setting the fastest lap time!
The Karts:
With a fleet of modern, race-prepared Biz karts that are serviced after every event, drivers can look forward to piloting themselves around an award winning circuit at speeds of up to 45mph. As you'll be sitting just 2 inches above the ground, this can feel a hell of a lot faster than it actually sounds!
The Track:
A 900+ metre rip-snorter of a track that features a 30m darkened tunnel, a banker ramp and an outside hairpin.
The Grand Prix:
Upon arrival drivers are given a full safety briefing, including tips on kart control and racing lines. Each driver will then take part in 5 practice laps to get them prepared. Then the fun really starts: drivers take part in 5 qualifying heats each (5 drivers can be on the track at any one time), with 5 drivers in each heat. After each heat drivers will be able to see their fastest lap times and points gained on one of the four monitor timing displays. After all the heats have been completed, the top 16 highest point scorers will take part in semi finals, gaining more points. Then the final top 6 points scorers can warm up their tyres for the final - a gruelling sprint, with spectators being urged to cheer on their favourite driver!
Then, to round off your event, there'll be the customary champagne spraying and awarding of trophies and medals on the podium.
Duration:
A Grand Prix for a group of 15 would last for approximately 2.5 hours.

- Catering for larger groups is also available.
- Minimum group size is 10; maximum is 70.
