Event Overview:
The karting grand prix is the staple diet of most stag dos and group events. And for good reason: the grand prix events provide excellent value for money and never fail to entertain, however many times you have done it. The venue has electronic lap timing to enhance each race and ramp up the competition element, so if you fail to win the race you can always get as much satisfaction by setting the fastest lap time.

The Track:
A challenging 300m indoor track featuring three very exciting high speed banking corners, which greatly aid overtaking opportunities. These corners, coupled with a uniform tarmac surface, provide a very fast track for sensational high speed racing.

The Race Formats:

Double Header (7 – 10 drivers):
- Practice session – 8 laps
- 4 qualifying heats of 10 laps for each driver
- Finals - 10 laps (all drivers)

Grand Prix (11-70 drivers):
- Practice Session – 5 laps
- 6 qualifying heats of 5 laps for each driver
- Semi final for all drivers (6 laps)
- Final for top six drivers (8 laps)

The grid order is decided by the finishing order of the previous race. The winner will start at the back of the grid in the next race. Points are awarded for each heat and the driver with most points will start in pole position for the final. The race is followed by a podium presentation.

The Karts:
All of the custom built karts are powered by the popular 160cc Honda 4-stroke engine, which can power the karts to speeds in excess of 40mph.

Laser quest in a multi-layered arena is also available at the centre at a cost of £4 per person.
