Archery

Archery

It may seem like an old-fashioned and boring sport, but Archery is anything but: requiring a steady hand, a good eye and skilful precision, this is a challenging activity that also happens to be stacks of fun.

Format:
The aim is to shoot at the target of coloured rings with authentic longbows. Participants have a practice session to develop technique, and instructors will be on hand to guide novices to the sport. Choose to either have a casual shoot for fun or keep things competitive by making it a scored event – it’s entirely up to you. One of the options is to place a series of balloons in front of the target and attempt to shoot as many as you can in a certain amount of time. Four archers will be able to shoot at once.

Duration:
1 ¼ hours. Minimum group size 8; maximum 24.
