Overview:A treasure hunt is excellent fun if you are looking for something entertaining to do during the day which will get all your party involved and working together. We can arrange pre-set treasure hunts through all the UK's major towns, which involve approximately 40 questions, the answers of which are gained as you walk along your route through some of the most scenic and interesting parts of the town. A treasure hunt is a great way of getting to know the city and also find out some interesting information that you would never have guessed unless you had taken part!Format:You will need to appoint one of your member as 'hunt master'. They will decide how to split up the group into teams and will hold the answers to the questions. The routes are circular, so you will always end up at your start point and it is best if you arrange a set finish time when all the teams have to be back at the start point to hand in their answers. It's recommended for the group leader to then take all the group to a nearby bar, where you can read out the answers, mark off the score cards (this is best done by getting teams to swap question papers and score while the hunt master reads out the answers) and then distribute any prizes (or penalties!) the hunt master has set for the occasion. What’s Included:- Personalised pack (please let us know the stag/hen's name)- 5 printed clue sets (suitable for up to 40 people)- Approximately 40 questions per clue set, following a pre-set route.- 1 set of answers for the hunt organiser.Duration:The treasure hunts will take approximately 2 hours to complete and are designed to be undertaken on foot.
Slappa da Base, Man!
This well-known chain of Pizza restaurants pride themselves on their huge menu, freshly prepared pizzas, and fantastic chefs. Now, it's your turn to be the chef - forget cocktail making, and chocolate making - Pizza making is the new kid on the block, and it's great fun.
You'll arrive to a welcome drink, either beer, wine or soft drink, where your tables will be laid out with a large pile of flour. Your chef will take you through a brief introduction where you'll learn some fun facts about the history of pizza, and do a demo - then, you'll get your dough, where you'll have to knead, spread, slap and spin it into a good base.
After that, add your tomato sauce, cheese, and any ingredients you can possibly think of - time to make yourself the pizza you've always wanted, exactly to your tastes.
There'll be a quiz about pizza facts throughout, and beware - wrong answers will be punished by shots!
This really is a great laugh, and sets you up for a great evening ahead.
- Pizza making session
- Welcome shot of Limoncello
- Not available at peak dinner hours (between 5pm-9pm)
- Approx 5 shots total distributed between quiz winners.
Overview:The Oxford English Dictionary defines Zorbing as: ' a sport in which a participant is secured inside an inner capsule in a large, transparent ball which is then rolled along the ground or down hills'As long as you agree that getting strapped inside a big sphere with a cushion of air between you and the ground and thrown down a hill reaching speeds of up to 50/60 kmph is a sport, then it is pretty much spot on. Whilst we don't expect this to make an appearance at the 2012 Olympics, we can't recommend it enough.
This is the best way to experience how a hung-over hamster accidentally strapped into its ball and inadvertently booted down a hill at your local park would feel. The only difference is that rather than emerging petrified and harboring gnawing disdain for your tormenter, you'll be giggling and stumbling like a dizzy school kid, scrambling back up the hill for another go.You'll be strapped in with one of your mates facing you, so you can both watch each other's faces go through a range of emotions ranging from fear, excitement to exhilaration as you hurtle down the 100 metere extreme hill side.Fast, exhilarating and incomparably unique, the year of the sphere is here.Notes:- 2 people per zorb- 1 roll (let us know if you want more)
