Hovercrafting - Wroclaw

Hovercrafting

Overview:
Sunday 1st October 2000. The death of the commercial hovercraft. Its final channel crossing and the end of an era.
Unknown to many, these magnificent machines were defiant in the face of extinction and spawned miniature offspring around the earth. A handful now live in Wroclaw, happily skimming across the water blissfully unaware of the grisly fate of their predecessors, and we've tracked them down.

Used for mud, sand and shallow river rescue, these awesome amphibious machines are a step above any others we've seen.

With speeds of up to 80km/h you'll be given free rein on the lakes, islands and fields on an expansive and feature packed plot. Hold onto your hat, these things are fast!

Exhilarating and an absolute must for thrill seekers, these crafts speed across land and water with breathtaking ease...once you've got the hang of it. Initial control can be tricky and the little beast can seem to have a mind of its own. The trick is to crank up power and use your thrust and rudder to regain control before you say hello to a tree and get a face full of bark.

With ground clearance of up to 9 inches, 3 people per hovercraft, and 2 hovercrafts per group, there's plenty of opportunity to experience the frictionless fun of these nifty vehicles. Jump aboard; this'll sort out the floaters from the bloaters.
