The weather's fine, you've got a once-in-a-lifetime stag do on the go and all you want to do is catch some sun, hit the bars and party like it's 1999. All over again. It's true that Bulgaria's got some of the most happening (and deviant and vibrant and mental) nightlife out of all the stag do locations but you'd be a right and proper fool to miss out on this day of rafting in the hinterland of Sofia on the magnificent Struma river that flows through Greece and Bulgaria. A day out on the water will be like a call of the wild for you and your mates as you battle the river wild and inhale the crisp air.
Hangovers will be wiped out as your survival instincts kick in the river shows you just who's the boss.
Format:
Practicing this sport in Bulgaria depends a lot on the high-waters of the rivers during in the spring. The participants' safety is guaranteed by the instructor on the boat as well as the professional equipment. As an extra safety measure, there is also a second qualified professional escorting the participants by a second raft.

The most appropriate time for this is from the middle of April till the middle of June.

Rafting takes place 120km from central Sofia. Allow a full-day for rafting.
