Overview:
If you are one of those back seat drivers who constantly think that they are being taken from A to B by a blind one-legged wombat with a nervous twitch, then here is you chance to get your own back. This specially designed car has been fitted with duel controls, so back seat boys and girls can share the driving experience with whoever’s in the front.
Motor Mayhem:
The cars have split controls – the person in the front gets the steering wheel and clutch, while the person in the back (who faces the opposite way) has the throttle, brake and gear stick.
Then, in teams of 2, you have to navigate your way round the challenging course and complete a series of tricky manoeuvres – reversing into parking bays, handbrake turns etc - against the clock.
Motor Madness:
Pretty much the same as the Motor Mayhem activity, except the gear stick stays with the front driver and a steering wheel is available for the rear driver.
The Cars:
Modified split controls – the person in the front gets the steering wheel and clutch, while the person in the back (who faces the opposite way) has the throttle, brake and gear stick.
Course:
- Twisty dirt course with 4 parking bays.
Duration:
- Allow approximately 30 minutes for each event.
