For those of you wanting to experience off-road driving, Scarborough makes the idela base for your break. Catering mainly for those wanting a traditional British beach holiday rather than heading for the Med, there are plenty of decent pubs about, along with the obligatory cheesy nightclubs you'd expect in a seaside resort.
The main reason for heading here, though, is that the nearby North Yorkshire Moors are home to undoubtedly the best off road motoring in the country. The site is used as a testing ground for Landrover and Rangerover and you'll soon see that testing is the right word if you come here to try jeep, quad or unimog driving.
