POOL AND SNOOKER
Overview:
Pool and Snooker have been staunchly British pastimes since the early days of the British Empire. You can't get much more manly than a game invented by British Army officers - passing the time in their mess halls with giant moustaches - where they called it 'snooker' - a term for inexperienced military personnel. Billiards had been around for years and years, but pool and snooker are the versions that have surged into popular contemporary culture.
A great option for those among you who want to show off their cue skills, potting trick shots like John Virgo, while the Jim Davidsons of the group sit back exclaiming that they could do better with their eyes closed. If you know your cue control is on point, then why not put some money in the pot and host your own tournament - or you could go for getting the shots in, if you've played some terrible shots of your own!
