Overview:
Take advantage of this spectacular privately owned beach with all the natural facilities needed to engage in a selection of A-grade outdoor activities. Located a quick 10 minute walk from the Newquay town centre, this surf beach features golden sands and crystal clear water - the perfect environment for a bit of outdoor fun and bonding. Dramatically surrounded on 3 sides by stunning 200ft cliffs, the area is sheltered from the wind and benefits from its Westerly direction with maximum sunlight throughout the day.

Format:
Begin the day by hitting the waves for a 2 hour surf lesson with expert tuition and all equipment provided. Once you've caught your breath its back into the beach shorts for a relaxed (or competitive!) game of beach volleyball. Finish off by chilling out on the beach with a round of icy cold beers! What could be better?

Surfing Lessons
Overview:
Grab one of our beginners boards and learn how to 'hang ten' like a true surf semi-pro in no time. You and the rest of the group will get changed into wetsuits and head out onto the sand for a full briefing from our seasoned surfing experts. You will learn all of the basics while planted safely on the shore. Once in the water your first task will be to catch waves while riding the board on your belly. Then it's time to head back to land for some tips on how to ride standing up. It's a lot easier than you would think, to be honest, but nevertheless you can still expect some quality wipe-outs for the photos!

Duration:
2.5 hours (you'll be fully knackered afterwards!)

Beach Volleyball
Hit the golden sands for a highly charged game of beach volleyball. Conduct a competitive game or simply stuff about for a bit of fun - the choice is yours! The playing zone is located right on the beach, giving players the perfect setting to have some fun.

Duration:
1/2 hour

Total Event Duration:
Surfing (half-day): Approx. 2 hours
Volleyball: Approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour

Restaurant & Bar:
The site features a top quality restaurant that serves everything from basic snacks to fine cuisine, including a selection of locally caught fish. The restaurant also offers abundant indoor seating with a great view of the beach, as well as a sheltered terrace and, for those that can't get close enough to the water, seating located on the beach itself. A fully-stocked bar is also available, offering you the chance to enjoy a drink while soaking up the fabulous views.

Notes:
- The site features changing rooms, clean shower and toilet facilities.
- Included: any safety equipment required by your group. Please wear comfortable footwear and come prepared for the weather and spending time outdoors (don't forget sunscreen or waterproofs, depending on the forecast!). If taking part in water sports, you will need to bring your own towels and for Coasteering, an old pair of trainers or wetsuit boots can be useful for scrambling over rocks.

Well, we can't guarantee you'll be that good by the end of this surfing lesson, but with the quality of instruction here, it's your best chance. Capable of teaching everyone from beginners to experienced surfers (That's right - even an old dog could learn a few new tricks), this surf school is one of the UK's flagship surfing schools - and where better to learn to surf than in the middle of the UK's surfing epicentre: Newquay.

You and the group will receive expert tuition for a full 2 hour session, with all wetsuits and equipment included, surfing the famous Fistral waves. Surf's up, Doooooood.

- Free bottle of bubbly for the stag!

Note:
For a small extra fee per person, you can have hire of the equipment for the whole day (until 4pm). Please ask when booking!

Overview:
‘Lets go surfin' now, everybody's learning how', sung the Beach Boys and they weren't wrong. The coolest of all water sports is more popular than ever and if the only surfing you've done is for filth on the internet then this is your chance to learn the real thing.

Once you've got kitted out with a wetsuit and surfboard you'll be given an introduction to water safety and beach awareness- remember the ocean can be a cruel mistress. Under the guidance of fully-qualified experts you'll hit the water, at first learning how to trim and ride a board lying down.

After some practice, and no doubt swallowing several litres of sea water, even the most uncoordinated of your group will be jumping up and riding the waves by the end of the session...hopefully.

Surfers of all abilities are catered for and the instructors will be on hand to make sure that everyone has a top time. Gnarly.
