Overview:
Take advantage of a spectacular privately owned beach by engaging in a selection of A-grade adventure activities. Located a quick 10 minute walk from the Newquay town centre, this surf beach features golden sands and crystal clear water - the perfect environment for a bit of outdoor frolicking. Dramatically covered on 3 sides by stunning 200ft cliffs, the area is sheltered from the wind and benefits from its westerly direction by getting an abundance of sunlight during the day.
A number of qualified instructors will be on hand to guide you through these adrenaline charged activities, making sure you get the most out of your day.

Abseiling
Take advantage of the imposing cliffs surrounding this spectacular beach and venture forth for some quality abseiling. There are two great spots to abseil, the first being a sheer rock face 150ft high, and the second taking you down into the mouth of a darkened cave. Even complete beginners can learn to make a controlled rope descent on a variety of cliff and cave terrains. Challenge your fears and feel an incredible sense of achievement as you reach the beach below!

Zip Wire
As far as exhilarating activities go, this is right up there with bungee jumping for nerve-scrambling excitement: the rush of launching yourself from the cliff top to ride the zip wire high across a crowded beach is second to none. The aerial runway on offer is 750ft long and 120ft high - the longest, highest and fastest in Europe. Participants will be strapped into a safety harness on the thick metal wire and given a full briefing by a qualified instructor before launching themselves off the top of the cliff and swinging across the beach like a mad monkey. But don't think the adrenaline-raising fun stops there: next you'll be expected to unclip yourself from the zip wire and abseil 50ft down to the beach below. An unforgettably thrilling experience that also gives you a top view of the stunning beach and cliffs.

Assault Course

Hit the golden sands for a highly charged game of beach volleyball. Conduct a competitive game or simply stuff about for a bit of fun - the choice is yours! The playing zone is located right on the beach, giving players the perfect setting to have some fun.

- Sunscreen or waterproofs depending on the weather.
Restaurant & Bar:
The site features a top quality restaurant that serves everything from basic snacks to fine cuisine, including a selection of locally caught fish. The restaurant also offers abundant indoor seating with a great view of the beach, as well as a sheltered terrace and, for those that can't get close enough to the water, seating located on the beach itself. Beach BBQ:
Sit back and take it easy as a chef fires up the BBQ and prepares a hearty meal for you and the rest of the crew. Whether you want to keep it simple with sausages, salad and burgers or indulge in some steaks and local fish, your tailor-made BBQ can be held either outside or inside - the choice is yours. Located a quick 10 minute walk from the Newquay town centre, this surf beach features golden sands and crystal clear water - the perfect environment for a bit of outdoor fun and bonding. Dramatically surrounded on 3 sides by stunning 200ft cliffs, the area is sheltered from the wind and benefits from its westerly direction with maximum sunlight throughout the day.
This day combines the action of a superb coasteering trip, followed by a chilled out game of beach volleyball and then some kicking back on the beach. Cool dude.

Coasteering Half Day
Overview:
This coasteering is a guaranteed crowd pleaser that combines swimming, climbing, scrambling, and cliff jumping and takes you to otherwise inaccessible parts of the Cornish coastline. Groups will be kitted up in wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids and given a safety talk before taking to the water and swimming out towards the headland (it's not that far!). From there you will make your way along a cliff face and venture into numerous caves where you'll come across a series of blowholes and whirlpools. At certain places during the trip you will use the push of the swell to clamber up onto the rocks. Then scramble up the cliffs and prepare to go into ‘bomb' mode as you take a thrilling leap 40ft (20ft if you are a pussy) off the cliff back into the surf below! The instructor will take the first leap to show the rest of the group how it's done, before those that are game follow suit. A real test of stamina and courage!

- The site features changing rooms, clean shower and toilet facilities.
- Included: any safety equipment required by your group. Please wear comfortable footwear and come prepared for the weather and spending time outdoors (don't forget sunscreen or waterproofs, depending on the forecast!). If taking part in water sports, you will need to bring your own towels and for Coasteering, an old pair of trainers or wetsuit boots can be useful for scrambling over rocks.

Overview:
Chicks dig lifeguards. There’s something about that whole ‘Hoff, running around in speedos, saving kids and puppies’ thing that gets em’ goin.

Why settle for ‘lifeguard’ when you can become the ‘King of the Beach’ and win complete bragging rights for the rest of the weekend? Remember that second is first last…and no one likes losers.

Surf life saving is a competitive sport, which evolved from the training activities of lifesavers at Australian surf beaches. Let the rivalry begin as you compete in a series of surf lifesaving challenges to separate the men from the boys. Here’s a taster of some of the events you can choose from…

Flags:
Let’s face it, we were all the school 100m champ when we have a pint in our hand and a story in our head, down at the local. Now is the chance to find the Usain Bolt’s from the Vanessa Feltz’s. This is very simple. A start line and a finish line with one less flag in the ground then there are runners. On go, it’s a race down the beach to grab a flag. Each round a runner will drop out until there is one winner.

Board Racing:
A buoy is placed out in the water. One by one you take turns at grabbing a long board and running down the beach and paddling out and around it before running back to that starting point to stop the clock. Don’t panic as we won’t be expecting any ironman efforts so the buoy won’t be placed too far out.

Beach Volleyball:
Every now and then a female sport comes along worth watching. This surely must be at the top of the list. Try your luck against each other with the members of the winning team getting maximum points each. Please remember that the scene from Top Gun wasn’t cool then and definitely isn’t now!

The Rat Run:
The Rat Run is a series of narrow tunnels and tight corners built out of wood at the base of the cliff. Designed to resemble caving or pot-holing, the Rat Run was built to train rescue professionals.

The winner with the most points gets a babe-magnet Yellow “King of the Beach” Jersey. What could possibly be cooler than that?

Notes:
- Lunch can be included for either £10.50pp for a full BBQ meal or £5.95pp for a hot pork roll. (Other options may be possible on request).
- Some of the events depend on the elements so may be changed to suit the weather on the day
- You will need to have swimwear, towels, sunscreen and normal beach attire.
- All equipment will be included like long boards and wetsuits etc.
