Overview:
Take advantage of a spectacular privately owned beach by engaging in a selection of A-grade adventure activities. Located a quick 10 minute walk from the Newquay town centre, this surf beach features golden sands and crystal clear water - the perfect environment for a bit of outdoor frolicking. Dramatically covered on 3 sides by stunning 200ft cliffs, the area is sheltered from the wind and benefits from its Westerly direction by getting an abundance of sunlight during the day.

Abseiling
Take advantage of the imposing cliffs surrounding this spectacular beach and venture forth for some quality abseiling. There are two great spots to abseil, the first being a sheer rock face 150ft high, and the second taking you down into the mouth of a darkened cave. Even complete beginners can learn to make a controlled rope descent on a variety of cliff and cave terrains. Challenge your fears and feel the incredible sense of achievement as you reach the beach below!

Zip Wire
As far as exhilarating activities go, this is right up there with bungee jumping for nerve-scrambling excitement: the rush of launching yourself from the cliff top to ride the Zip Wire high across a crowded beach is second to none. The aerial runway on offer is 750ft long and 120ft high - the longest, highest and fastest in Europe. Participants will be strapped into a safety harness on the thick metal wire and given a full briefing by a qualified instructor before launching themselves off the top of the cliff and swinging across the beach like a mad monkey. But don't think the adrenaline-raising fun stops there: next you'll be expected to unclip yourself from the zip wire and abseil 50ft down to the beach below. An unforgettably thrilling experience that also gives you a top view of the stunning beach and cliffs.

Postman's Walk
Imagine tight rope walking from one cliff top across to another - welcome to the postman's walk! Two horizontal ropes lead from one 200ft cliff across the beach and over to the other cliff top. By placing your feet on the bottom rope and grabbing the top rope with your hands you will make the petrifying walk high above the beach, safely strapped into a harness just in case of any slight mishaps!

Assault Course

Beach Volleyball
Hit the golden sands for a high charged game of beach volleyball. Conduct a competitive game or simply stuff about for a bit of fun - the choice is yours! The playing zone is located right on the beach, giving players the perfect setting to have some fun in.

Rat Run
Providing a safer and more controlled experience than caving, this allows participants to scurry about in a series of man-made tunnels. Set up on the beach, you will crawl up and down through a series of narrow tunnels, attempting to navigate your way out. Escape hatches have been installed throughout the tunnel system, allowing people to hop out at any time.
Duration:
Approx: 20 mins. It takes 5 - 10 minutes per person to navigate through the tunnels.

The site features a top quality restaurant that serves everything from basic snacks to fine cuisine, including a selection of locally caught fish.
