Get the lads’ competitive spirits fired-up by hitting this awesome indoor karting track and determining once and for all who’s the fastest on the tarmac. The unique indoor track will definitely prepare you for the night ahead as it’s laid out like a flashy disco: the atmosphere is set with ultra-violet tubes, strobes, spotlights, smoke machines and pumping music – obviously not your average karting track, then!
The Track:
The track which is about 200 metres long has been designed to allow plenty of overtaking opportunities.
Safety is kept firmly in mind as the tyres that mark out the track are surrounded by yellow piping that prevents the tyres from scattering and karts from crossing into the path of others if any impact occurs.
The Karts:
Honda 160cc Biz Karts.
The Grand Prix Format:
- Group arrival and registration
- Kit allocation: Racing suits, full racing helmets and gloves are provided.
- Drivers briefing: Resident professional instructor will brief all drivers on safety, racing lines, flag signals and kart handling.
- Practice: 1 X 8 laps per driver
- Heats: 6 X 6 laps per driver
- Semi finals: 1 X 8 laps per driver
- Grand Final: 1 X 10 laps, top 6 points scorers from heats and semi-finals qualify for a place in the final.
- Presentation: Trophies for the top 3 place getters.
Duration:
Approximately 2-2.5 hours, depending on group size.
Notes:
- You may have to share track with other drivers.
- Tea & coffee for all drivers.
- Pit Stop Burger Bar open on site.
