Newcastle Clay Pigeon Shooting
Overview:
Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours?
The very sociable set up of the shoot means that there will be plenty of opportunity to comment, critique and even applaud your fellow competitors attempts, so it’s a particularly superb activity for drawing together groups where not everyone knows each other that well.
By the end of the shoot, they’ll all be bonding down the pub over their sharp-eyed skills, or indeed lack of them.
Clays is also a great leveller, so it’s perfect for groups where some are not the most active.
Format
Our experienced instructors provide individual tuition and you will get the chance to shoot 12 and 20 bore shotguns. There is no pain when using the proper equipment: special guns and cartridges to suit all statures will be on offer. The instructors take pride in introducing novices to this exciting sport, with the aim of making you a top marksman by the end of the session (well, be able to hit something at least!). A scoring system is incorporated into the event to build up the element of competition and provoke some post-match banter.
