Getting Around:
Chillisauce votes for Munich’s public transportation system. It’s excellent, very modern and operates with great German efficiency. You’ll find inexpensive fares and save even more by buying a ten ticket strifenkarte pack. Remember that all tickets are time stamped and then only valid for a certain time limit so don’t let yours expire. Another great option is to get a three-day group travel card for the inner zone at €20.
Driving is a real hassle with many pedestrianised areas in the city and minimal parking. But you will easily find inexpensive taxis – a far better choice if you want to go door to door on your stag night adventures.
Must See/Must Do:
• Get some R&R in the Badenburg sauna and bathhouse
• Visit the interactive Deutsches Museum
• Oktoberfest. Or should we say Beerfest? So much beer…

There is literally no reason that you should not have a delicious beer of some type at any time you please during your stag weekend. A famous bar in central Munich is Alter Simpl, you won’t want to miss raising a pint there. Brewers go to Augustiner Braustuben – so you can only imagine how good their beer is. Want to hit the dance floor? Visit Erste Liga, just remember their strict dress code but it’s worth it to enjoy their great electro mixes. Café am Hochhaus has live DJs and cool photo wallpaper for great music and nightlife.

The only challenge eating out in Munich on your stag weekend is that there are too many great dishes and places to choose from. Try the delicious currywurst spicy sausage at Bergwolf. Don’t forget that German sausage is one of the best sausages around.
