This venue has all of the spectacular natural features to make it one of the best places in the UK to experience an off-road adventure. With over 500 acres of hills, bogs, woodland and water, any event held here will be sure to blow out the cobwebs and get the adrenalin rushing.

Format:
Choose from any two of the following:

Off Road Buggies
Prepare to be sliding all over the place as you get behind the wheel of a powerful Gemini Liberator buggy. The 400cc, 30hp machines are hugely fun to drive and you'll be guaranteed to be going sideways as you bolt around a brilliant grass track full of tight chicanes. Up to 2 buggies will be out on the track at once and the session begins with a few practice laps around the track. Next it's time for an endurance event where participants will be split into teams and expected to operate as a fully functional pit team as they negotiate pit stops and driver changeovers. The session will end with some timed individual races to determine who is the fastest on 4 wheels.

Extreme Quad Biking
Take on the challenge of deep mud, water pools and slippery descents on a brilliant Yamaha fully automatic quad bike. You will be accompanied by qualified instructors who will explain the bike's controls and allow you to have a practice ride before you embark on a trek up into the fells. There is no set track as this is true off-road quad bike trekking; the course will be made up as you go along to match the group's ability. All safety equipment is provided including overalls, helmets and gloves. Be warned though: you will not just be riding around on a flat field and are guaranteed to get a bit muddy, so don't bring your high heels! Each event session lasts a full hour of driving time per person.


Clay Shooting:
Pull, lead, squeeze, destroy, eject. Some people can and some people just can't. If you manage to get the hang of this fast paced action sport you can really put one over on the boys. Novices and old hands alike are well catered for with qualified instructors at the ready to take you through the basics and then to further hone your marksmanship. You will start on a couple of simple ‘straight up' practice targets to get the hang of things as you learn to track the bird and how to time your shots.

Professional instruction is provided in a 25 clay session with the instructor's aim to have even the most novice marksman hitting at least every second target by the end of the day. Different traps allow the target ‘birds' to be released in various flight patterns - across you, along the ground, away and up or straight down the barrel. You'll be using a 12" bore pump action shotgun just to spice things up a bit.

Air Rifles
To make sure your group is keeping their eyes on the prize, Air Rifle Shooting will be on offer to test your sharp shooting skills (or lack thereof). The shooting range has a series of targets and participants will be scored on their efforts. Up to 4 shooters can get out on the range at any one time.

Archery:
This event is simple really. Grab the most annoying member of the group, stand them up against a tree, bang an apple on their head, back-up 15 paces and let rip at the apple.

Well, you could probably do it, but just not whilst the instructor is looking. Archery is a game of points. The centre of the target being the highest and the outsides worth less. Missing everything all together wins you a cheer from your friends and nothing else....

4x4 Off Roading - (can only be done with clay shooting)
Using one of the beefy Land Rover Defenders, learn to drive off road on one of the biggest sites in the UK. 500 acres of extreme hills, rocks, water runs and bogs await drivers who are after some extreme adventure. Your qualified instructor will teach you how to handle some of the hardest off road terrain available and if you get stuck you may be taught some special winching techniques. Three other passengers can accompany the driver during the session.

Duration:
Allow approximately 1¼ hours for each driving event session. Shooting event may last longer depending on group size. Allow about 4 hours in total.

Rage Buggy Time Trials
Featured on BBC Two's Top Gear and voted the best off road vehicle, these amazing machines are the Formula 1 of buggies. They are run on time trials - whilst one person is going around the track the next person is waiting in the pits to jump in as soon as the existing driver returns. Team mates can help in getting the drivers in and out of the rage buggies as soon as possible. The best time of the day wins.

Quad Trek
You'll get a bike per person, tuition from a qualified instructor and exhilaration all the way on this quad safari. The cross-country trek through a quarry, across streams, and up and down hillsides is seriously fun and satisfyingly testing.

Powerturns
With independent front suspension, two Honda 6.5 HP Engines (200cc each), balloon back wheels, bicycle front wheels, twin seats and independent lever steering, driving the Powerturn is a bit like riding a rodeo bull on wheels. Communication between the pairs of drivers is essential to complete this course in the best possible time.

4x4 Off Road Adventure
Experience the thrill of driving a 4x4 around a demanding course in a skill test that requires patience and nerve. You'll be attempting daring manoeuvres that seem impossible - driving up very steep muddy slopes, careering into axle-breaking ditches and more - it's nerve wracking, sensational fun.

Quad Bike Racing
Rally - A race against the clock over a purpose built course.
Enduro - complete as many laps as possible within a given time period. Teams manage complete race, including, drivers, changeovers and over-taking procedures.

Gemini Off Road Buggies
Outrageous fun, with copious amounts of over-steer, 360 degree spins and loads of mud. Can your team remain cool, calm and collected. Are you able to accumulate more laps than the opposition?

Blindfold Driving
The driver of the 4x4 vehicle is blindfolded and has to negotiate a coned course with the help of directions from the
passenger/team-mate. Instructions, even when shouted, are not necessarily obeyed! This leads to frustrating but hilarious consequences!

Clay Pigeon Shooting
Whatever your ability, you'll be knocking the clays out of the sky in no time. The highly trained firearms instructor will be on hand to give you an outstanding experience.

Laser Combat
Equipped with state of the art infrared hardware, players stalk each other using stealth and cunning, strategy and skill. This highly sophisticated adrenaline charged activity takes place in a custom built 5 acre game area, equipped with Flag bases, the village, a bridge too far and the two towers. Teams will be given a choice of weapons ranging from SMG/Sub Machine Guns, AR-12 assault Rifles and HK-16 Sniper Rifles. Each weapon delivers variable damage and all teams can be monitored by computer scoring system.

Bobsleigh Push Start
This is a one of a kind activity and incomparably unique. You'll be using the official dry training track used by the Olympians. With top class coaching, teams push a 2 or 4-man ‘Bob' for the fastest time of the day. Requires controlled aggression, team power and co-ordinated speed. Jump in a bobsleigh and feel the speed!

Aerial Extreme - Tree Tops Adventure Course
Aerial Extreme is a high-adrenaline tree top, adventure ropes course. Experience true excitement as you climb to the forest canopy and trek through the trees from platform to platform traversing rope bridges, wobbly logs, scramble nets and zip slides culminating in the unique Sky Walk and 50ft Para-Descent back to Earth.

Archery
Cross Bows: Learn how to use these awesome weapons ......a great alternative team event.
Archery - Long Bows: Can you consistently hit the ‘Gold' and record the highest team score for the day?
The Silver Arrow - an event which provides a fascinating insight into the techniques and equipment used in the Middle Ages.

Pro Spec Rifles & Pistols
Learn to use these awesome pro-spec weapons. You will be in an indoor rifle range with a variety of targets to shoot at with full instruction from a firearms expert.

For safety reasons a maximum of 20 people will be out on the quad bikes at any one time. It is therefore recommended to mix the activity with another event to keep everyone busy.

Overview:
Take the wheel of a 125cc Yamaha breeze quadbike and get yourself out into the open countryside through an assault course, over obstacles and under natural limbo bars. The quads are perfectly equipped to get you about, chugging through bushes and woods, through forests and over hills - these things have almost unnatural amounts of power behind them, meaning these quads are ideal for tackling the selection of courses on offer and the simple controls mean you can concentrate on getting past all of the obstacles with ease. You'll be in teams of five being led through a huge 34-acre woodland, complete with a fast-flowing stream running right through the middle - a change of clothes may be advisable, as you will get muddy, and you will get wet! You'll all be pointscored for control and technique so there's a competitive element to the day!

Includes:
- An instructor will be on hand to offer guidance throughout the event and will take up to 5 drivers at once on quad trek through a variety of challenging terrain.

Overview:
Gear up for a rip-roaring day of motorised madness at this top outdoor activity venue close to the centre of town.

Off-Road Racing Buggies
Powered by a 400cc engine, these exciting single-seater off-road Howla buggies provide thrilling entertainment. Driving around a twisting circuit with slaloms, chicanes and hairpin bends, participants will be split into teams and do a practice run before taking part in individual time trials and a timed team competition. Each super-fast race will feature one driver on the track while the next driver preps to hit the course. All round suspension, a full roll cage and racing harness ensure maximum fun with maximum safety.

Quad Bike Trek
Navigate these 125cc Yamaha breeze quads through an assault course, over obstacles and under limbo bars. These quads are ideal for tackling the selection of courses on offer and the simple controls mean you can concentrate on getting past all of the obstacles with ease. An instructor will be on hand to offer guidance throughout the event and will take up to 5 drivers at once on quad trek through a variety of challenging terrain.

Duration:
- Each motorised activity lasts for approximately 1 - 1.5 hours, depending on group size.
