Overview:
The Schumacher brothers honed their instincts racing karts back home in Germany, here’s the chance to follow in their footsteps. With the karts reaching speeds of up to 40mph this is an adrenaline packed event. There really is no feeling like whizzing past your mates, particularly if they spin off in the process.
The Karts:
Either 215cc Briggs & Stratton Karts or 160cc Honda Stratos karts, depending on availability.
The Circuit:
Is made up of straights where you can build up maximum speed and hairpins where the point at which you break is all important.
Grand Prix:
After a safety briefing, you will have 3-5 practice laps each before embarking on the full competition. This will consist of 5 heats each of 5 laps for each driver. There will then be an ‘A’ final for the top 6 drivers and a ‘B’ final for the next 6. The top 3 drivers will receive a podium presentation with a trophy for the winner.
Duration:
You will be in the centre for around 2 ½ hours, depending on group size.
