Forget horse racing, this is the real sport of kings. With a fully qualified instructor, you will rotate through a variety of traps (so named because originally they contained real pigeons). You will begin with a 15 clay practice before commencing a 15 clay friendly competition. The instructors are well-versed at dealing with novices and will quickly have you blasting the clays to smithereens on the easier traps. They will then move you on to the more advanced ones, depending on how they rate your group’s ability.
Bear in mind that the techniques needed change as you move from trap to trap so anyone too cocky after the first few clays may be looking pretty sheepish by the end of the day!
