Overview:
Liga Champions Real Madrid at the amazing Bernabeu Stadium is possibly the top spectacle in international sport. Atletico also have a great tradition and a spectacular stadium. Either provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Game Times and Dates:
Most home games are on Sunday evenings, but if the TV rights are bought (especially for league leader games), matches can be changed to the Saturday night. You'll need to book to stay in Madrid both the Saturday and Sunday nights (so you can enjoy the amazing nightlife!), and we will advise on the kick-off time and day the week before. If this clashes with other activities, we can normally change these around the football.

Real Madrid:
Real Madrid were the founding members of FIFA and have been European Champions a record 9 times and have also won 30 La Liga titles. The club also operates a reserve football team, Real Madrid Castilla, and a successful basketball team, Real Madrid Baloncesto and are trying to sponsor a rugby team, CRC Madrid Noroeste and a Formula One team. Real Madrid is unique in that, unlike most football clubs, it has been owned and operated only by its members (socios) since 1902. On December 23, 2000, FIFA declared Real Madrid the best club of the twentieth century. Throughout its history, the club has acquired a lot of nicknames. The first ones were los merengues, because of the white dessert meringue, and los blancos. Both simply referred to the club's legendary all-white strip and remain the most common to this day. In the 1970s, the nickname los vikingos became popular, due to the signings of several northern European players. Most recently, the media called the club los galácticos, referring to club's tendency to sign the most famous players in the world.

Atletico Madrid:
During their history, the club have been known by a number of nicknames including los colchoneros or the mattresses due to their first team stripes being the same colours as old-fashioned mattresses. During the 1970s they became known as los indios. This was allegedly due to the club signing several South American players after the restrictions on signing foreign players were lifted. However there are a number of counter theories which claim they were so named because their stadium is camped on the river bank or because los indios were the traditional enemy of los blancos, the whites. The latter nickname refers to the club's city rival Real Madrid.

Bernabeu Stadium (Real Madrid)
- Category 1: Pitch side lower tier.
- Category 2: Goal end lower tier and pitch side upper tier. 
- Category 3: Goal end upper tier

Vicente Calderon Stadium (Atletico Madrid)
- Catgory 1: River side stand
- Category 2: Main stand lower tier
- Category 3: Main stand upper tier

Overview:
This is a superb evening of true stag party entertainment Madrid style, where we have combined Spanish gastronomy, cigars and naked girls and wrapped it up in an alcoholic bath of cava, beer, pubbing and clubbing for an evening of ultimate dusk 'til dawn hedonism. 

Summary:
Three course Spanish meal with copious drinks (including a minimum of half a bottle of wine per person or beer equivalent plus liqueurs) in a private room in a restaurant with striptease show. Once you've spent a few hours on this bar crawl to a few of the best bars Madrid has to offer, you'd have to be Ronnie Wood not to be plastered beyond recognition. A recipe for a kip in the gutter in only your boxers, we'd be hard pressed to think of a better way to spend your night.

It would be a a waste of a night if you didn't get spectacularly annihilated, so we've chucked in a couple of free shots to get the ball rolling, and a a few guides to make sure you end up at the best places, the rest is up to you!

This is both a bar crawl and a tour of Madrid's great tapas bars; you can decide which emphasis you put on the night.

Tapas is the name for a wide variety of appetizers in Spanish cuisine. They may be cold, such as mixed olives and cheese, or warm, such as puntillitas, Andalusian battered, fried baby squid.

If it's tapas you want we take you to the tapas bars, but those who want only a bar crawl may decide against the food and double up on beers or wine! Either way, this is THE way to hit the ground running in Madrid with an expert guide to show you the best joints to get eating or just drinking.

Included:
- Stops in 5 bars. Standard Spanish bar measures apply: beers are "Caña" size (just under a half pint), and the total of food consumed, if you decide to go for the tapas throughout, is equivalent to a meal. You may also want to tipple on some of the local liqueurs and hooch that can really perk up the occasion!
