Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one of Britain's top tourist attractions with one of the greatest selections of rollercoasters on the planet… and you can have unlimited rides on them for the entire day. These eye-watering menaces include:
The Pepsi Max Big One:The tallest, fastest rollercoaster in Europe, this behemoth is 235ft high and features over one mile of twisting and turning at speeds of up to 87mph. Not recommended if you’re feeling a bit green from the night before!
Valhalla:Pushing things boldly to the limit, this is the biggest and most spectacular water-borne dark ride in the world. Designed and constructed at a whopping cost of £15 million, Valhalla is a high speed thrill ride with unique features and a host of multi-sensory elements, which means this will be like sky-diving on LSD. Wheeee!
Avalanche:The UK’s only genuine bobsleigh ride, this is a unique rollercoaster ride guaranteed to thrill - and give your guts a good churning!
Spin Doctor:Fortunately, this has nothing to do with that crap band from the early 90s with a similar name. Instead, this little puppy has two rotating propellers that spin riders 360 degrees through the air to heights of 120 feet and at speeds of over 60mph. Best of luck walking straight afterwards!
Grand National:Europe's first twin track racing coaster was constructed in 1935 and remains one of the most popular wooden roller coasters in the world. A bit of old school fun for those worried that their brains might burst from their eyes on some of the other more ‘extreme’ coasters!
Big Dipper:A traditional wooden rollercoaster where world record rollercoaster marathon rider Richard Rodriguez rode for an incredible three months non-stop, day and night. Although we can’t understand why anyone would want to actually do this, you have to respect a man who manages to blag three months in a fun park rather than have to go to a job. Bravo, then!
Ice Blast:The first ride of its kind in the UK, Ice Blast catapults riders vertically up a 210 foot tower at 80mph and thrusts them back down again for an incredible hair raising free fall descent. This is kind of like jumping off a tall building, except paramedics won’t have to scrape you off the pavement afterwards.
Irn Bru Revolution:Europe's first 360 degree looping rollercoaster. Riders are advised to take any loose change out of their pockets – unless you fancy your chances at catching it on your way back down again.
Drench Falls:The world's longest log flume. Experience what it would be like to be a bum nugget flushed down the S-bend and ride the rapids around the twists and turns and down the two heart-stopping steep drops.
Rollercoaster:Despite its unimaginative name, this is another classic “Woodie”. This rollercoaster gives you a velvety smooth ride as it takes you through steep drops, climbs and banked turns. A good option when you’ve gorged yourself on 14 chilli dogs and are after something a little “gentler”.
Space Invader 2:This isn’t a virtual reality tour based on the classic 80’s video arcade game, but part of us really wishes it was. A rollercoaster with a real difference, this eye-opening ride promises to have you riding through “outer space” in near total darkness.
Steeplechase:You don't need to be a jockey to enjoy this horse race, but that’s not to say being an actual jockey wouldn’t work to your advantage. Competitive types can race against their friends on this 3 lane steel coaster ride.
Wild Mouse:Not for the weak of heart, this hair-raising ride deserves its name. Plummet down incredibly steep drops, fly up hills and whiz round a seemingly endless array of bends. As one of only three remaining traditional wooden Wild Mouse rides remaining in the world, this one's a real gem.
Bling:Bound to be a draw for the likes of Ali G and chavs everywhere, this is a real diamond knuckle experience. Riders are lifted a whopping 100 feet above the ground and spun through the air on giant glittering gondolas. The ride will throw you about in three different directions at speeds of 60mph, the ride pulling a strenuous 2.5gs. Word to your mutha!
Impossible:An interactive journey of exploration, this is an undercover attraction that will turn your whole world upside down, much like discovering you were actually born a hermaphrodite to a couple of in-bred chimps before being given up for adoption.
This championship standard clay pigeon centre is set in 50 acres of beautiful Lancashire woodland which is ideal terrain for a top quality shooting session.
Assuming that you are a novice group, your fully qualified CPSA instructor will start your group on a simple going away bird as you learn the basics of tracking the bird and timing your shot. As you get the hang of it, your group will rotate through a variety of traps, each mimicking the movement of a different type of game.
The tensions will build as the competition heats up and the key to success will be your ability to keep cool on the pressure shots (so a well timed sledge or two to your mates could make all the difference!)
A variety of guns are available to suit all sizes and lighter load cartridges can be used if requested to minimize recoil so everyone can happily enjoy this fun and exciting sport.
Should you choose the 50 Clay Option, there will be 25 Clays warm-up, and a 25 shoot competition.
The winner of this comp will win a trophy, and the stag will get a printed photograph of the group, while the rest will recieve the image via e-mail after the event.
Approximately two hours for a 25 bird shoot or three hours for a 50 bird shoot.
Hot food and drinks are available in the club house.
This quote is for 25 targets unless otherwise stated. (You can upgrade to a 50 clay shoot for an additional £20 per person)
Overview:Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will learn the skill of shooting clays which is definitely not something that's as easy as it looks!

After some practice shots everyone will be split up into teams of approximately 6 and the competition will commence; the instructor's mission being to have everyone hitting the clays accurately in as short a time as possible. Everyone will have the chance to shoot 25 clays at a number of stands. The stands will fire the clays from a multitude of positions to test your shooting skills, each mimicking the flight of different birds (for example: duck, pigeon or woodcock). Everyone's efforts will be scored and the best shooter will be revealed at the end of the session.

If you’re looking for an activity to make the weekend memorable, or something to bring together a group of stags who don’t all know each other , then cocktail making, or mixology as it’s called, is the perfect solution.
Experienced, professional and friendly mixologists will take you step by step through the history of cocktails and then show you how to make three of the classics, before handing you the bottles and letting your imagination and creativity run wild.
As you experiment under expert guidance as to what works and what doesn’t, you’ll start to appreciate a whole new art form and most excitingly develop skills which you can then hone with friends and family in the years to come.
Each group will have one or more cocktail ambassadors who will brief you on the day's activities before giving a short introductory talk on the history of the cocktail and the origin of the word. You get to toast the host with some flavoured vodka shots too!
The ambassador will then make an introduction shot for the group where he/she will explain what all of the bar tools are used for. If you don't know the difference between a Hawthorn strainer and a Boston shaker, you'll find out.
Everyone then makes a classic cocktail behind the bar, and in turn, gets a second trip to the other side of the taps to make a classic cocktail of their choice from the menu - Woo Woos, Cosmos, even Bond Martinis!
The event will end with a mini quiz with two free cocktail vouchers each on offer for the winning team. To soak up some of the alcohol, your group will also have a couple of food platters to munch on, with a wide variety of finger food.

They will then move you onto the more advanced ones, depending on how they rate your group’s ability. Bear in mind that the techniques needed change as you move from trap to trap so anyone too cocky after the first few clays may be looking pretty sheepish by the end of the day!

Overview: ‘Football's not a matter of life and death. It's more important than that.' So said legendary manager Bill Shankley. But however seriously you take the beautiful game, you'll love a game of 5-a-side on purpose-built astroturf pitches. Wow your friends/colleagues with your Maradona-esque skills and recreate your favourite footie moments in a game that'll separate the Steven Gerrards from the Stephen Hawkings.
The Game:The glory of the 5-a-side is that you can modify the format of the game to suit the needs of your group. If you've had a particularly heavy night you can take it easy with short games and multiple substitutions, but if you're madly keen and super fit you can have an intense game and there's even the option of booking a referee. Match balls are provided and we recommend you try to coordinate colours amongst your group so you won't be able to blame not knowing who's on your side for your umpteenth misdirected pass.
What you need to bring:T-shirt, shorts/tracksuit bottoms, trainers.Notes:Referee optional.

But however seriously you take the beautiful game, you'll love a game of 5-a-side on purpose-built astroturf pitches. It's golf, Jim, but not as we know it... If you're a fan of a round on the links, but are more Ferdinand than Faldo, Footgolf is the sport for you. Cack-handed golfers who can't swing for their supper can rely on the good old 'two left feet' and engage in the country's newest sport. It takes place on full-sized, normal golf courses, and will be a great day out for you and the boys.
Of course, you have to look the part, so full golfing attire should be worn, however you can trade in your golf shoes for some kickabout trainers. You'll be using your feet to propel standard regulation footballs into not-so-regulation holes - imagine the 18th hole has just been made by an overzealous greenskeeper with a shovel.
Naturally, it's a game of skill, so bring your best game on the day - and see who makes par, and who the duds are!
- Round of Footgolf
- There is a bar on site where you can puchase Bacon Sandwiches and Beers.
- You play in 4 man teams, and a round will take about 2 hours to complete.

Overview:A treasure hunt is excellent fun if you are looking for something entertaining to do during the day which will get all your party involved and working together. We can arrange pre-set treasure hunts through all the UK's major towns, which involve approximately 40 questions, the answers of which are gained as you walk along your route through some of the most scenic and interesting parts of the town. A treasure hunt is a great way of getting to know the city and also find out some interesting information that you would never have guessed unless you had taken part!Format:You will need to appoint one of your member as 'hunt master'. They will decide how to split up the group into teams and will hold the answers to the questions. The routes are circular, so you will always end up at your start point and it is best if you arrange a set finish time when all the teams have to be back at the start point to hand in their answers. It's recommended for the group leader to then take all the group to a nearby bar, where you can read out the answers, mark off the score cards (this is best done by getting teams to swap question papers and score while the hunt master reads out the answers) and then distribute any prizes (or penalties!) the hunt master has set for the occasion. What’s Included:- Personalised pack (please let us know the stag/hen's name)- 5 printed clue sets (suitable for up to 40 people)- Approximately 40 questions per clue set, following a pre-set route.- 1 set of answers for the hunt organiser.Duration:The treasure hunts will take approximately 2 hours to complete and are designed to be undertaken on foot.
