Overview:
If you are looking for a paintball site where you're not mixed in with hundreds of other people, and prefer to stay together with your group then this is the perfect venue. The site tries to offer a very personal service and limits the number of people on the site to a maximum of 24 at any one time, so everyone in your party sticks together throughout. Although the site limits capacity, it is certainly not lacking in features. With six different playing fields, including fortresses and cowboy village, there is plenty to keep even the most avid paintballer happy.

The Buggies:
These cars have a powerful 400cc engine linked to an automatic gearbox, in a chassis with a full roll-cage and all-round spring suspension making them very forgiving for the first-timer and a lot of fun for everybody. There are only two pedals for stop and go. It's just driver and machine against opponents and terrain, leaving you to concentrate on steering your way around the challenging circuit in front of you.

The Race Format:
The initial instruction and safety briefing is followed by a couple of practice laps to get the driver used to the track. Each driver then competes in 4 timed races of 7 laps each, with 4 buggies competing in any individual race (the middle 5 laps in between a warm up lap and a warm down lap). To prevent a mass pile up on the first corner, each kart sets off a split second after the previous kart (all karts will have left the start line within a couple of seconds each other). To allow for any slight differentiation in kart performance, each driver swaps karts at the beginning of each race, so every driver will have driven in each of the karts in 1 race. A grand final is then set up for the fastest drivers from the pre-final race heats, with a bottle of bubbly for the winner. 

The Track:
The track is specifically designed to get the most out of the buggies while providing extreme racing in a safe environment. The dirt track incorporates bumps, humps, banked corners and jumps (where catching air is part of the game).

Overview:
It's very hard to beat a good day at the races and if you win, it's even better.

The atmosphere at a race track is always amazing whether you're dressed in your Sunday best in the members' enclosure sipping bubbly or staying casual and snacking on hotdogs all day.

Those that think they know a thing or two can study the form and chew their pencils whilst the others can pick on the funniest name or the best coloured silks. Horse racing covers all the bases and has something for everyone.

Overview:
A spell in one of these purpose-built rally-prepared MKII Ford Escorts. These huge machines make a rage buggy look like a tonka toy. You'll be instructed on how to control handbrake turns, skid control and Scandinavian flicks.The timed aspect adds a great competitive element to the day, and encourages friendly banter between the group.

It'll leave you with a buzz that'll invade the rest of your weekend, as you and your group discuss who had the skills to pay the bills. Meanwhile, the snail at the bottom of the rankings should be paying the bill for the first round of shots!

Format
You'll begin with a quick driver briefing where you'll be taught the basics of controlling the vehicle, and the style of driving needed to beat the course. After this quick tuition session, it'll be straight into the driver's seat for a session of handbrake turns, in order to get you in gear for the upcoming rally stage. Your instructor will be guiding you throughout using the helmet intercom system.

Once you're handbrake turning like a getaway driver, you'll fire onto the rally stage for three laps - with the third being a timed hot lap where you'll have to shave off the milliseconds if you're going to beat the rest of your group and have a crack at popping the winner's champagne.

To finish off, hop in the passenger seat and squeal like a child as your instructor shows you exactly how that lap should have been done.

Notes
- Ideal group number is ten people. More can be accomodated, however.
- Tea and Coffee are included
- Spectators are welcome.
- Drivers need to be in good health and have a full UK driving licence.
- If you are late or miss the safety briefing, you won't be driving. Arrive in good time.
