Set in a magnificent piece of woodland houses this superb Shooting ground. Complete with a mighty 10 shooting stands, knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors, this coupled with State of the Art traps and superb shooting hardware make for a cracking day out.
The Instructors take pride in introducing novices to this exciting sport. With the aim of making you a top marksman by the end of the session (well able to hit the thing anyway). With a ten Stand shooting range there’s no fear of having to wait long for a shot either.
Licences are not needed – just wear suitable clothing for the time of year, and flat shoes please.
The session lasts approximately 2 hours depending upon the number of people participating. The session will involve using 2 different types of trap (this affects the path, speed and direction of way the clay flies to simulate the movement of different types of animal; from a duck dropping onto a pond, to a bounding rabbits and cross flying pigeons). A scoring system is incorporated into the event, to build up the element of competition and provoke after match banter.
