Eastbourne Clay Pigeon Shooting and Thompson submachine airguns!
Overview:
Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours? Yes? We thought so! What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile!
A highly-experienced instructor will be on hand to ensure you know how to handle, aim and fire the shotgun correctly - there'll be a 12-bore shotgun for those who feel confident, and a reduced-recoil 20 gauge for those of lighter stature!
The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accomodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games, so there'll be a variety of targets for beginners and those who've dabbled in the sport before!
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the country air and smoke a few clays - by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not...you'll have a blast!
After a short break, or should there be more than one group of you, you'll then move on to the weapon that's been a staunch favourite of the US Military, the Commonwealth forces, and the American mafia - the Thompson. Frequently known as the Tommy Gun or the 'Chicago Piano', this airgun replica fires lead ammunition, and is designed to feel just like the real thing! Again, there'll be a full safety briefing before your session, where you'll shoot at paper targets, and electronic targets - using the latest Promatic Sharpshooter electronic target system.
There'll be a competition element to these games, where you'll shoot in a speed game, hitting all the targets in as quick a time as possible, and an accuracy-scored game. You'll be able to total up the scores at the end, and find out who's the real sharpshooter, and who's firing blanks!
Situated just outside of Brighton, this new establishment promises to have you shattering clays in a safe, fun environment, being at just the right distance to get back to the city for a celebratory drink!

Clay shooting was a real hit with the boys, excellent fun and good all round activity. Organisers were very welcoming and professional.
