Climbing:
The Bristol area has some of the best limestone climbing in Britain. The variety of climbs at the local crags allow you to learn the basics on gentle routes, but give scope for the more adventurous to test themselves on steeper climbs, where balance and courage are vital for success.

Abseiling:
Whether you break into this fantastic activity with a gentle introduction, or descend from heights of 200ft with stunning views, you're guaranteed an adventure. Your instructor will carefully explain the whole process and ensure your complete safety and wellbeing. And don't worry, a second rope is always used and controlled by your instructor, so you can't go wrong. 

- With no more than 8 people working with each instructor it's kept very safe
- Climbing/abseiling on rock not a wall
- You don’t have to be great with heights. You are not made to climb higher than you wish and the abseil works you very gently.

Duration:
- 2½ hour session

What to bring:
- Old clothes are advisable with long sleeves and long trousers
- Trainers or walking boots are fine
- Sun cream if hot 

Quad Biking:
Enjoy the mud and thunder of a thrilling 1/2 mile track quad biking session. If you like your activities rough and ready then this will be right up your dirt track. The quads are a step up from the ones on offer at most activity centres. You won't be piddling about on slow automatics here; you'll be introduced to anything up to 200cc quads. You'll pick up cheek rippling speed as you speed round this track. When this gets rough there are more bumps and humps than a pool party at the Playboy mansion. Only real men can handle them so if you have any weaklings in your group you better book them a double archery session. 

High Ropes:
Climbing, scrambling and swinging like a monkey is instinctive to every man. As we all know, you should always follow your instincts, and what better way get in touch with your inner chimp than by spending an afternoon on the high ropes? You'll get to climb ropes, hurtle down the 200 foot zip slide, balance accross tight ropes, scale the climbing tower, abseil, walk the beams and test yourself in a plethora of challenges 40 foot above terra firma. Even if you're not particularly agile, all is not lost, as there are courses set for climbers of all abilities.
Leave the vertigo at home: this'll sort out the Tarzans from the Janes.

Overview:
Master the art of handbrake turning around hairpin corners and pirouetting the car around 180 degrees before accelerating in the other direction. After a little practice you'll be driving like a pro and impressing the pants off your friends and colleagues. Other challenges to face:

- Practice powersliding a powerful rear-wheel drive car sideways using the power to get the back of the car sliding and the opposite lock steering to control the slide. Great fun and a fantastic way to develop exceptional car control. Very impressive to witness once you get the hang of it!
- Experience what it's like to drive in a rally on our purpose built rally stage. A mixture of gravel and tarmac will keep you on your toes as you use front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and a four-wheel drive turbo charged Subaru Impreza WRX. The laps will be timed with a winner announced at the end of the session.
- The experience isn't over yet: the instructors will get the chance to give some of their own back as they take you on an authentic, high-speed rally ride!

Cars:
- Peugeot 106 XSi. Front-wheel drive, 1400cc 4 cyl 98 bhp. Lightweight and a very agile class winning car.
- BMW 325i. Rear-wheel drive 2500cc 6 cyl 186 bhp. Classic front engine rear-drive layout ideal for sideways rally driving, but beware: they are very 'tail happy' and you might find yourself facing the wrong way!
- Subaru Impreza WRX. Four-wheel drive, 2000cc Boxer 4 cyl Turbocharged 280 bhp. The ultimate rally machine in many people's minds. Four-wheel drive grip makes it an exceptionally good handling car, with plenty of power and that distinctive boxer engine sound.

Duration:
- Half day: Rally. 9.00 am to 12.30 pm or 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm.

- Full driver's licence required.
- Four people per instructor.
- This event is fully mobile and can be taken to other sites for an additional cost.
- There is food and drink available at the venue and participants will be given refreshments throughout the day.
- Minimum group size is 4.
- All equipment and instruction is included.

Overview:
Experience some high speed spills at one of  the largest tarmac race tracks in the Southwest. This is a totally custom built complex that really will impress those that have previously been used to spinning round an aircraft hangar on a glorified lawn mower.

The Track:
At over 510 metres in length it is longer than many of the outdoor ‘pro race' circuits and this includes a straight of over 120 metres on which the race karts can reach a speed of up to 40 mph! The track twists and turns and is packed with chicanes and hair pins. The venue also has an excellent viewing gallery which is elevated over the track to allow superb viewing of the action with an amusement arcade, pool table and snacks. There are also numerous TV screens which cover all the action.

The Karts:
The karts all have powerful 200cc race engines, allowing you to reach speeds in the region of 40 mph. However, we cannot be accountable for the gravitational effects on acceleration owing to how many beers you have consumed in the preceding months!

- Allow approximately half a day for this event including transfers

Overview
Why not start your afternoon in style with a cornerstone of British society? No, not a cornetto. That's right chaps - Tea. That wonderful caffeinated nectar, drunk by everyone, from the humble builder to the refined politician. Not only will you sit and enjoy tea (and coffee if you're so inclined), but you'll have a selection of finger foods to look forward to as well.

On arrival at the hotel restaurant, you'll have a glass of buck's fizz to properly start the celebrations, as your tea and coffees are prepared. You'll then be brought platters of varied sandwiches, scones and desserts, so you can enjoy the afternoon.

As well as this? How about full use of the hotel's excellent spa facilities too? No worries.

Overview:
Get yer' rears off of the sofa, turn off WiiSports, and go throw a few curveballs for real, Captain Gutterball! There's something inherently exciting about ten pin bowling, be it the smooth glide of the ball down the freshly-waxed lane, the thunderous clack of pins as the ball steams through them like a wrecking ball through a building, even the disappointing clunk of a gutterball dropping off the end of the lane!

Ever since 'The Dude' graced your screen, you've always wanted to feel that satisfaction of chilling out in a bowling alley with a beer, engaging in fierce competition with a challenger, engaging in a battle of skill and psyche-outs! Get your fingering technique right, strengthen that right wrist, and get your balls into the action!

You'll enjoy a few games of bowling with you and your buddies - food is available, and there's also a bar to keep the proceedings lubricated! Get a competition going, and remember - if you're terrible enough to be branded captain Gutterball, you'll be the one buying the first round later! Get the strikes in - and go for the turkey - all together now: 'GOBBLEGOBBLEGOBBLEGOBBLEGOBBLE!'
