Event Overview:
Karting is the staple diet of many Stag Dos and group events – and for good reason. It provides excellent value for money and never fails to entertain, regardless of however many times you have done it. This venue has electronic lap timing which ramps up the competition element – if you fail to win the race you can always get some satisfaction by setting the fastest lap time. There are two different race formats on offer here, an open Grand Prix and an exclusive endurance event. The Open Grand Prix is terrific fun and runs every Saturday afternoon.

Open Grand Prix Format (for 1-40 drivers):
You will race on an indoor 250 metre circuit with chicanes, hairpins, bends and straights for grand prix style event. The event is split down as follows:
- Race briefing and kitting up
- Race practice session – all drivers
- Race Laps – 6 x 4 lap races (all drivers)
- Semi-Final – 3 x 4 lap semi-final (18 drivers – 6 per heat)
- Final – 1 x 4 lap final (fastest 6 drivers)
Exclusive Endurance Format (10+ drivers):
During this event you will be split into teams of 2 or 3 (one kart per team). This event is more driving intensive than the grand prix and the aim of the game is to complete as many laps as possible in the alloted race time. Each team will be in charge of their own driver swap-overs during the race. The event format break down as follows:
- Race briefing and kitting up
- Race practice session – (all teams)
- 10 people: 40 minutes driving time.
- 15 people: 60 minutes driving time.
- 20 people: 90 minutes.
- 30 people: 120 minutes.
- 50 people: 150 minutes.
Durations & Notes:
- Open Grand Prix: 1pm to 4pm every Saturday.
- Exclusive Endurance Races: weekdays and Saturday mornings.
Facilities:
The hospitality area is glass enclosed and offers a panoramic view of the track. An American style ‘diner’ provides full catering service which can include pre-arranged buffets. A licensed bar will be available once the racing has been completed.
