Overview:It's very hard to beat a good day at the races and if you win, it's even better.
The atmosphere at a race track is always amazing whether you're dressed in your Sunday best in the members' enclosure sipping bubbly or staying casual and snacking on hotdogs all day.
Those that think they know a thing or two can study the form and chew their pencils whilst the others can pick on the funniest name or the best coloured silks. Horse racing covers all the bases and has something for everyone.Includes: - Ticket entry to the races
Overview:Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours? Yes? We thought so! What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile.Experienced instructors will demonstrate to your group how to use a shotgun safely annd accurately. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accomodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the country air and smoke a few clays, by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not...you'll have a blast!Included: - 25 Clay Shoot - Full Instruction from a 5-time member of the England ABT shooting team. - All safety gear and equipment. - Tea, Coffee and Biscuits
Overview: This coasteering is a guaranteed crowd pleaser that combines swimming, climbing, scrambling, and cliff jumping and takes you to otherwise inaccessible parts of the Cornish coastline. Groups will be kitted up in wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids and given a safety talk before taking to the water. From there you will make your way along a cliff face and venture into numerous caves where you'll come across a series of blowholes and whirlpools. At certain places during the trip you will use the push of the swell to clamber up onto the rocks. This is a full 3hr coasteering session in which you will work your way scrambling, climbing, jumping and swimming at a pace that suits your group. Choose the level you wish to take on from sheltered (easy) location to intermediate and for the brave advanced! Duration: Half day: 3 hours including kit up & safety talk. Notes: You must be able to swim 100 metres.
Overview:Swim, climb, jump and explore the coastline as you've never experienced it before. All sessions can be tailored to suit all abilities and excitement needs, so rest assured that you're in for a cracking time! Blowholes, caves and curious sea creatures are only some of the fantastic features that you will encounter on your coasteering route. Personal equipment (wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet) is provided and all instructors carry safety, rescue and first aid equipment. Each session will start with a brief that will cover safety aspects, before heading out with your experienced instructor.
Will you end up clinging to the rocks for dear life and refusing to jump? Are you brave enough for the coasteering challenge? Well, there's only one way to find out!
Times:- 10 am - 1 am - 2 pm - 5 pmNotes:- All you need to bring along is a pair of wetsuit booties or trainers that you don't mind getting wet.
Get high with a thrilling high ropes session. This is a brilliant setting for you to face your fears and swing through the trees like Tarzan.
After being kitted out in all of the essential equipment and a full safety briefing from the instructors, it'll be time to head for the trees. You'll have the choice of tackling high, exciting courses or some lower ones if you're feeling like a bit of a pansy.
If you are a bit nervous about heights our advice is simple; clear your mind and focus on what is in front of you. Whatever you do don't think about slipping over and you falling head first to your death*.
*This won't happen as you'll be attached by a safety harness at all times so at worst you'll swing in the air for a few seconds before being pulled to safety.
- 2–2 ½ hrs
- Very wet and windy weather may postpone the event. We will do our best to offer an alternative activity if this happens.
The Inuit's preferred means of water travel, these two man closed-in kayaks are great fun. Learn to paddle and steer along the coastline on the River Neet. With a good few hours to paddle away your hangover you'll be re-energised and ready for the evening.
You and a partner will need to get coordinated in order to cruise along effectively. If your compadre fancies himself as a bit of a joker, you'll be at his mercy as a few well timed rocks could send you tumbling into the wet.
- 2–2 ½ hrs
This exhilarating mountain bike session takes place at a purpose built off road track. Once at the venue you can follow the off road track and tackle its obstacles or pit your skills against the many tests of balance including the see-saw and the balance beams!
For those more experienced riders there are numerous harder terrain tracks to follow, including woodland, cliff top and quarry sections.
Jump on and get pedaling!
- 2–2 ½ hrs
OverviewA short drive from Newquay and Plymouth and set within a disused quarry, this outdoor karting site boasts an outstanding 800m track and 200cc karts with a top speed of 40mph. Their Grand Prix race is a stag weekend favourite; a perfect way to settle old rivalries and get everybody pumped for the night ahead.
FormatAfter the safety briefing you will have five practice laps which will also determine your starting grid position for the heats. The top six drivers will go through to the final and battle it out for the trophies. With a bottle of bubbly for the winner, this is stag celebrations F1 style!
DurationApproximately 2 hours, depending on numbers.

Once you've got kitted out with a wetsuit and surfboard you'll be given an introduction to water safety and beach awareness. Remember the ocean can be a cruel mistress. Under the guidance of fully qualified experts you'll hit the water, at first learning how to trim and ride a board lying down.
After some practice, and no doubt swallowing several litres of sea water, even the most uncoordinated of your group will be jumping up and riding the waves by the end of the session... hopefully.
Surfers of all abilities are catered for so regardless of whether you fancy yourself as a Point Break Swayze or haven't been in the sea since a traumatic primary school swimming pool incident, the instructors will be on hand to make sure that everyone has a top time.
