Overview:
Flying a kite? That's a bit rubbish isn't it? Well no, that's where you'd be bang wrong. We're not talking the pathetic little kites that you used to fly down the park when you were a kid, we're talking monstrous stunt kites which you'll literally be fighting to keep under control.
Your instructor will lead you to the top of a hill which is windier than Rik Waller's duvet after an all you can eat curry, where you'll be taught how to handle the flying beasts. You may think this sounds simple, but trust us there's a lot more technique involved than you'd think.
Once you've got the kite in the air remember to hold on tight and keep your feet firmly on the floor. If you're less than 10st we recommend you fill your pockets with stones as last year a weedy member of a stag party was blown away by a strong gust of wind and was last seen by air traffic control somewhere over Norway.
