Currency:
Slovakia’s official currency is the Slovak Crown which is referred to as the koruna. Generally Slovak Crowns have a 60 to 1 exchange rate with the pound. Money can be exchanged in many places like hotels, banks and ATM machines while in Bratislava on a stag weekend. Banks typically give the best rates, however.
Getting Around:
Bratislava is centrally located and walking can be a very pleasurable experience especially in the city centre. Public transportation is also abundant and efficient for any stag do. Taxis are another option but know that two rates generally apply. If the taxi is requested by telephone the rate is generally less than if hailed on the street.
