Overview:
This is a superb action packed half day. Unlike many other companies, we know that to ensure a day such as this is as enjoyable as possible you must have a skipper that understands and fits in with the group. The skippers are all hand picked to suit the type of group and event.

The day is designed to get everyone involved in the sailing, from on deck duties, through to GPS navigation.

Itinerary:
Saturday 13.30 - Arrive at Ocean Village Marina, Southampton, welcome onboard the yacht, the skipper will give you a short safety briefing, outline of the general programme and allocate initial crew roles. You will set sail up Southampton Water and be provided with sail tuition, which will include helming, raising and trimming of sails and navigation. Any crew who do not wish to join in are welcome to sit back and enjoy the ride. 

You will sail into the Solent and towards the Isle of Wight. The course will be set on the day to take into consideration the weather and wind strengths. 

There are two types of yacht which are used for the event. The type of yacht used will depend upon the numbers in the group.
