Vineyards and Vino:
Life is for celebrating and by choosing wine tasting for your hen or stag party, you can celebrate in style and emerge a wine connoisseur able to show off a completely different knowledge to a heavy body and thinner legs. Wine tasting can help you to identify your Bollinger from your Babycham and have you swirling, sniffing and spitting wine with the best of them.

Technically speaking, wine tasting is the sensory examination and evaluation of the wonderful grapey drink. However you put it, studying one of the finer things in life in a beautiful English vineyard is a fool proof way of having a fantastic hen or stag party.

The location:
This 4* vineyard set in the heart of Purbeck is 30 minutes away from Bournemouth town centre and minutes away from the magnificent Jurassic coastline, a world heritage site.

What it includes:
After an introduction from the vineyard owner, your guide will take you to explore the variety of vines and discuss the growing and harvesting of grapes in an English Vineyard.

In this small but perfectly formed winery, you will discover the delights of wine making from the grape to the glass. Then, it will be your turn to taste!

You will sample three carefully selected English wines and then enjoy a Cellarman's Platter of local pates, cheeses, breads and salads suitably accompanied with a glass of wine. Weather permitting; lunch will be served on the patio overlooking the Vineyard.

Use your brains and your brawn as you embark on a mountain bike trek to locate a series of pre-determined checkpoints. The trek will take riders through a spectacular forest and by the shores of scenic Poole Harbour.

The Format:
Groups will be split into separate teams of approximately 5 and handed maps that reveal the location of the specified checkpoints, the object being to locate and describe the highest number of checkpoints within a certain timeframe, scoring penalties for a late return to base. Team’s efforts will be scored to reveal the winners of the event.

Approximately 2 -3 hours. Minimum group size 8; maximum 16.
