The fishery is set in a sheltered location on the edge of the Bowland Forest and is stocked with top quality rainbow and brown trout weighing up to 15lbs. Once a Royal Hunting Ground, the Forest is now better known for its exceptional natural beauty and abundant wildlife. The 4 acre man-made lake provides a stunning venue for a relaxed day’s fishing and is a great way to unwind and shoot the breeze with your mates. Casting platforms are provided and 7 of them feature wheelchair access and adjacent car parking.
Keen fishermen are welcome to bring their own fishing kits; however a kit is available for a small hire fee that includes a rod, flies, extra line and a fishing guide.
Duration:
Two separate options for fishing are available:
- A full day that allows you to catch a maximum of 4 fish.
- A half day that allows you to catch a maximum of 2 fish.
