Overview:
This excellent venue for paintball is the only one in the country set in an officially recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spread over 30 acres of dense, natural woodland, the site encompasses seven different zones and provides spectacular views from Worton Crag.

Woodland Zones:
Two wooded zones provide the ideal terrain for grab the flag games.

Ambush Zone:
One team lies concealed in fox holes while the other tries to avoid the ambush.

Fort:
Attacking/defending game

Bracken Zone:
Attack each other through the maze of tunnels.

The Hill:
Strive to mine your opponents bunker.

CPS:
Rescue the wounded and protect their stretcher back to base.

Overview:
Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours? Yes? We thought so! What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile.

Experienced instructors will demonstrate to your group how to use a shotgun safely and accurately. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the country air and smoke a few clays, by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not...you'll have a blast!

Overview:
Get high in the forest with a thrilling high ropes session. Set deep in the Moor Valley this is a brilliant setting for you to face your fears and swing through the trees like Tarzan.

After being kitted out in all of the essential equipment and a full safety briefing from the instructors, it'll be time to head for the trees. You'll tackle a course of over 30 hanging rope bridges, scramble nets and zip slides which are up to 30ft off the forest floor. You can also have a go on one of the few tree zip lines in the country.

If you are a bit nervous about heights our advice is simple; clear your mind and focus on what is in front of you. Whatever you do don't think about slipping over and you falling head first to your death*.

*This won't happen as you'll be attached by a safety harness at all times so at worst you'll swing in the air for a few seconds before being pulled to safety. Mong.

 

Overview:
A treasure hunt is excellent fun if you are looking for something entertaining to do during the day which will get all your party involved and working together. We can arrange pre-set treasure hunts through all the UK's major towns, which involve approximately 40 questions, the answers of which are gained as you walk along your route through some of the most scenic and interesting parts of the town. A treasure hunt is a great way of getting to know the city and also find out some interesting information that you would never have guessed unless you had taken part!

Format:
You will need to appoint one of your member as 'hunt master'. They will decide how to split up the group into teams and will hold the answers to the questions. The routes are circular, so you will always end up at your start point and it is best if you arrange a set finish time when all the teams have to be back at the start point to hand in their answers. It's recommended for the group leader to then take all the group to a nearby bar, where you can read out the answers, mark off the score cards (this is best done by getting teams to swap question papers and score while the hunt master reads out the answers) and then distribute any prizes (or penalties!) the hunt master has set for the occasion.

Duration:
The treasure hunts will take approximately 2 hours to complete and are designed to be undertaken on foot.

Overview:
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will learn the skill of shooting clays which is definitely not as easy as it looks!

Format:
Groups will meet for a full briefing and safety talk from a qualified instructor before heading out on the shoot. After some practice shots everyone will be split up into teams and the competition will commence with the instructor’s mission being to have everyone hitting the clays accurately in as short a time as possible. Everyone will have the chance to shoot 30 clays at a number of stands. The stands will fire the clays from a multitude of positions to test your shooting skills, each mimicking the flight of different birds (for example: duck, pigeon or woodcock). Everyone’s efforts will be scored and the best shooter will be awarded a bottle of bubbly at the end of the session.

Duration:
Approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on the group size.

Overview:
It's all well and good going for a relaxed countryside walk, perhaps feed some squirrels and enjoy the views. But NO. You are man. Man need excitement. Squirrels can find their own damn food.

Make nature exciting by taking the alternative route - This natural stream bed features lots of small steps and mini-waterfalls to traverse at first, when you'll make your way upstream to a steep wooded section of the gorge with a 20 foot waterfall to get your head around and climb. Don't worry, you'll have a harness and rope protection, but that's not to say it'll be easy.

Once you're up and over, you'll head upstream further to get to deep plunge pools that'll allow for some adrenaline-spurting leaps and swimming. Nothing like getting up close and personal with Mother nature only for her to leave you tired and moist. Dirty girl.

After that, take a relaxed forest trails walk back to your meeting point. Job Done.

 - You do need a basic level of fitness but the guides will look after you and tailor the walk to match the capabilities of the group.
 - Bring a full outfit (inc. footwear) that you don't mind getting dirty and wet. Bring a FULL change of clothes for afterwards.

Overview:
Paintball is a stag weekend favourite that never fails to provide top value entertainment for all the crew. All of our sites have numerous unique game zones that allow you the chance to recreate scenes from your favourite war movies and inflict some pain and humiliation on your mates in the process.

You can choose to do either a half day or a full day session, however we find that a half day starting after lunch is ideal for most stag parties as it allows for precious hangover recovery time! On arrival at the site you'll be kitted out in protective overalls and facemasks and issued with a top-notch, gas powered gun. After a quick safety and rules briefing you'll head into the combat zones for some paint-splattered action.

The Games:
You'll play a variety of team games ranging from 'capture the flag' and 'hostage rescue' to 'storm the fort'. You can expect to encounter anything from tanks and helicopters, bridges, forts and even a Tora Bora-style cave network. Whether you want to hide and pick off your targets like an SAS sniper or run around like a gun-crazed Rambo you'll get plenty of oppotunity to flex your trigger finger and dish out some serious gunishment!

Where are we?
Get into the team spirit and race against the clock using your map-reading skills to navigate you to various checkpoints dotted around the beautiful country scenery. Bragging rights go to the quickest and most efficient team while the losers scratch their heads and argue about who lost the map in the middle of nowhere.

Paddles to the ready!
These two man canoes are completely open topped similar to the ones used by Indians or Canadian Trappers. You and a partner will need to get coordinated in order to steer and paddle effectively.  During the day you will play lots of games and learn a number of different paddle strokes used in the sport of canoeing. If your compadre fancies himself as a bit of a joker, you'll be at his mercy as a few well timed rocks could send you tumbling into the wet.

- Full day (includes 2 x 3 hour activity sessions and a packed lunch)

Nerves of steel and a steady hand are all that is needed for this fun-filled and competitive Olympic-style archery tournament. Competitors are given a score sheet and let loose on the large field targets. An activity that is definitely a lot harder than it looks, the person who emerges with the highest score will be awarded a certificate and dubbed ‘Master Bowman’ of the day.

Historically known as the tipple of choice for pirates roaming the high seas, Rum's popularity has exploded to become the mainstream drink of choice of rockers, socialites and tramps alike. This fantastic venue prides itself on its knowledge of rum - with 41 different types of rum on hand, you're in good hands.

You and your group will get to taste seven of these fantastic bottles, with a background on the history and production of the liquid, as you taste. One for the conoisseurs amongst you, this is a must for anyone who enjoys their rum.

Everyone in the group will also enjoy one of the venue's widely-celebrated pizzas for lunch, which is worth a go whether you enjoy your rum or not!

Overview:
If you’re looking for an activity to make the weekend memorable, or something to bring together a group of guys who don’t all know each other , then cocktail making, or mixology as it’s called, is the perfect solution.

Experienced, professional and friendly mixologists will take you step by step through the history of cocktails and then show you the tools of the trade, the skills you need to create a masterpiece, and the bit everyone wants to learn - Flaring. Everyone wants to be that person who's able to simultaneously spin, flip and throw bottles, while mixing a heavily-alcoholic drink.

As you experiment under expert guidance as to what works and what doesn’t, you’ll start to appreciate a whole new art form and most excitingly develop skills which you can then hone with friends and family in the years to come.

Format
You'll arrive with your group at the venue to meet your mixologist for the day, who'll give you a shot to get the proceedings underway. You can then tuck in to an award-winning pizza lunch, while you'll also get a platter of nibbles to sate any hunger for the rest of the lesson! You'll have a briefing on the history of the cocktail, as well as a run through of the bar tools you'll be using and how to use them. After a flaring demonstration, you'll be let loose on the juice, and each member of the group will have the chance to carefully craft two intricately-flavoured cocktails.
