Overview:
Deep in the heart of the countryside, on an abandoned industrial estate near Birmingham, Farmers have reported unusual losses of livestock, and missing person reports are flooding the local papers. Rumours surfaced of a Special Ops team disappearing 24 months ago - the only clues left were a garbled radio message, and a mangled corpse. Recent sightings have placed the creatures around a pharmaceutical development facility and it is believed that the pack of ‘Wolfmen’ are using the cover provided by criminally insane test subjects to hunt their prey – YOU!

Put simply - it's your turn to step up where others have failed: Take on the werewolf and try to outwit this fierce, cunning, intelligent predator.

Format:
This is a Late Evening Event. You can opt to stay over, but this is an added extra for larger groups.
You will arrive on-site at 2000hrs. You'll undergo a safety briefing and get kitted up. If it's wet, you'll get waterproofs.

You'll then receive a crash course in basic military training - procedures and weapons training that'll save your life (hopefully...)

Then, head out into the Parasol Research Facility where the last sightings of the creatures occurred - don't expect to all come back alive.

If you do survive, the real challenge begins - the wolves attack your fortified position whilst using the escaped Parasol Research test subjects as distractions.

Warning: Chances of survival are slim.

The event will finish at about 23:30 - at which point you'll need to make your way home. If you're still alive, that is.

You'll need:
 - Dress in robust outdoor clothing with appropriate footwear.
 - To be relatively fit - you'll need to run (away) and crawl.

Notes:
 - You must not be intoxicated before starting this event.
 - You must not bring alcohol on site, beer/cider/wine will be available for purchase after the event.
 - Accommodation in military-style camp beds is an optional extra. It is very basic accommodation, so please bring a sleeping bag and a washkit. Stag packs can be purchased for £10 extra, and include 2 crates of lager and assorted snacks.If you decide on this, please bring a sleeping bag and washkit.

But there have been some even stranger goings-on on the outskirts of the Second City. Bloodthirsty vampires are on the loose and this is your chance to be the hero and hunt them down.

For a bloodcurdlingly terrifying night out with a difference, you and your brave army of friends will be trained as crack Vampire Slayers, before being sent out into the night to track, capture and kill these undead purveyors of evil.

Format:

After being kitted out in stab vests, goggles and helmets and armed with the latest in vampire-hunting gear, you’ll be trained by slaying experts in how to use your weapons before being sent out in teams to tackle four different adrenaline-fuelled scenarios, searching your way through the vampire lairs while you work together to find and kill those pesky, fang-toothed villains. After re-arming, it’s then time for the crucial final mission of bringing down the Queen of the Vampires! Breathlessly exciting, fast-paced, frightening and just a little bit kinky, this is one Friday night you will never forget.

Three hours (Fridays, 6.30pm-9.30pm)

Due to the large scale effort that goes into running this night, sessions book up well in advance. Book early to avoid disappointment.

More Info:

The budding Vampire Slayers should arrive 30 minutes before the hunt gets underway. Everyone will be given a concise safety briefing and be asked to sign the mandatory safety waiver. Equipment is then issued, including a safety hat, specs, stab vest and gloves before you get your all-important mission brief and story lines.

Then your training gets underway in earnest, with your basic weapon training before being given some expert tips on how to take out your foe, the evil vampires.

You will then be split into small vampire hunting teams before being let loose in the vampire lairs to hunt down the undead enemies. You will get four action-packed scenarios to tackle, working together to find and kill the vampires, before they sink their teeth into you!

You will get a chance to re-arm after completing each phase before embarking on the mission of finding and rescuing Professor Uden who holds the killer formula needed to bring down the Queen of the Vampires. Then it’s time for that crucial final challenge, taking out the Queen! Then the victorious slayers will get a debrief before heading back out into the night... if you survive of course.
