Overview:
With England lacking mountains and heavy snow being rarer than a Taliban strip club, opportunities to ski are limited. However, dry slopes are a brilliant way of recreating the action on the piste even though there's less white powder on the runs than there is up Daniella Westbrook's nose.
You'll be kitted in all of the essential equipment- ski boots, skis and ski poles, before heading out onto the dry slope. Under the guidance of an instructor the format of the 1 hour session will be catered to suit to ability levels of the your group.
If you are novices the instructor will be on hand to give you a crash course in skiing, but if you're an experienced group he'll take a back seat and let you show off your prowess on the plastic piste.
The main slope is 165m long and features moguls, bumps, jumps and a quarterpipe, so if you're ever watched the professionals powering down the giant slalom at breakneck speeds and fancied having a go at that yourself, this is your chance.
