Paintball Half Day, Lunch and Two Activities - Bath

Paintball Half Day, Lunch and Two Activities

Why limit yourself to just one event when you can enjoy and thrilling multi-activity day? Have an action packed half day of paintball then choose two activities from our extensive activity menu.

Paintball:
If you've ever wanted to shoot one of your mates but didn't fancy a lengthy spell in the slammer then paintball is the event for you. Whether you charge around like a gun-wielding escapee from a mental hospital, or hide in the bushes picking off your targets like an SAS marksman, you'll get plenty of opportunity to test your aim and flex your trigger finger.

The woodland venue makes the ideal game location with plenty of natural obstacles. Under the guidance of experienced marshalls you play a series of action packed games including 'Bunkers', 'Munitions Dump', and 'Missile Diffusion'.

Included:
- Safety briefing and instruction
- All equipment
- 100 paintballs
- Additional paintballs cost £7 per 100

Now Choose Two of the Following Activities:

Quad Biking:
Enjoy the mud and thunder of a thrilling quad biking session. If you like your activities rough and ready then this will be right up your dirt track.

The quads are hefty 175cc Bombardiers which are a step up from the ones on offer at most activity centres. Only real men can handle one of these so if you have any weaklings in your group you better book them a double archery session.

After being given a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the quads under the watchful eyes of the instructors, you'll be taken on an obstacle filled course along the challenging half mile course which features tight hairpins, tabletops and more bumps than an acne-ridden teenager's face.

Rage Buggies:
Put your foot down and burn rubber in the beast of all buggies. With a 620cc engine and lightweight chassis, the buggies are capable of hitting a blistering 50mph in under 6 seconds. There are no gears to worry about so you can concentrate on hitting the racing line. The specially built course incorporates slaloms, chicanes and hairpins which will challenge even the most competent of drivers, so go hell for leather and push the karts to their eye-watering limit.

Each competitor will have plenty of practise laps to get to grips with the kart. There will be three karts on the track at one time, with a staggered start so that you have plenty of clear track ahead of you. Finally you will race in a pursuit, with the fastest times of the session going through to a final.

Archery:
If the only experience you've got of archers is listening to Radio 4 on a Sunday morning, it's about time you tested your mettle at Robin Hood's favourite sport. You can hark back to a time when the bow and arrow was the most feared weapon in the world and good archers were so feared that if they were captured during battle they would frequently have their fingers chopped off.

Under the tuition of experienced archers, you'll be let loose with a light but powerful long bow and hopefully by the end of the session you'll be piercing the bull's eye with regularity.

Blind Land Rover driving:
You may have been blind drunk before but you're unlikely to have been blind in charge of a Land Rover. You'll be behind the wheel of a rugged 4x4, doing your best to avoid a series of challenging obstacles whilst trying to decipher the instruction given by your back-seat driving friends. If you find driving around town in a Fiat Panda tricky, prepare for a rough ride. Just remember: if your mates start screaming it's probably time to slam on the brakes.

Max Cats:
Made famous back in the day by the Banana Splits, you can thrash these crazy karts around a custom built course which features inclines you think you'll never get up and drops you think you'll never get down in one piece. With no steering wheel, these 6 wheel drive amphibious vehicles are like 500cc mini tanks with minds of their own. Once you've mastered the tricky stick controls, all you have to do is point and drive. Max Cats are capable of driving virtually anywhere which, if you've had a shandys the night before, you'll probably find out!

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Clay pigeon shooting used to be associated with posh old duffers in tweed jackets, but you don't need a Land Rover and a plummy voice to enjoy a session on the shooting range. This is a brilliant activity to get your competitive juices flowing so expect lots of banter and plenty of sledging as everyone vies to be their group's 'Top Gun'.

Under the instruction of expert marksmen you'll be pumped full of top tips and shown how to handle the 12 bore shotgun. Clays will be fired from several different traps, ranging from the simple - which will sit up and beg to be shot - through to the more demanding, which will speed off at a rate of knots.

By the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not. My advice: track the clay like a hawk until it's on the tip of your gun and blast the life out of it.

Lunch:
A stag's dream! Burgers, chips and soft drink: all of life's great pleasures.
