Barcelona FC (generally referred to as Barca) was founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English, and Catalan men led by Joan Gamper.

Games are normally played on a Sunday evening but on some occassions it will be moved to the Saturday. FC Barcelona do not fully confirm times and dates for each match until 7 days before the match.
