Overview:
If you're struggling the morning after a heavy night out, there's no better way to shake off your hangover than with a relaxing round of golf. Don your best Lyle & Scott t-shirt, pull on your plus fours and head out onto the links.
A great way to get a bit of competition going amongst your group, a round of golf can teach you valuable lessons for your nights out- chase birdies and avoid the rough at all costs.
Pick your course:
There are 15 spectacular championship golf courses in Pattaya, including ones designed by Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus.
A local golf pro will give you a choice of courses when you arrive in the city.
There's no need to lug your clubs all the way from home as club hire is included, as is a caddy who'll give you the inside track on your course of choice as well as carrying your clubs. On some courses golf carts are compulsory but that is included in the price.
Handicaps certificates are not required, although you will be expected to be up to speed with accepted etiquette. Replace divots, let smaller groups play through and don't scream obscenities at the top of your voice when your mates are halfway through their backswings.
What you need to wear:
The standard polo shirts and shorts combo will be fine. All Thai courses insist that players wear soft spikes.
Extras:
You can have a ladyboy caddy for a small additional charge.
