Overview:
Burn some rubber before you burn a hole in your wallet at the pub at this brilliant outdoor karting track near Glasgow. The track’s Grand Prix race is always a favourite for stag party and everyone is guaranteed to have a cracking time on the track.
The Track:
The 450m floodlit outdoor circuit provides a mixture of fast straights, challenging curves and hairpins with plenty of overtaking opportunities.
The Karts:
The lightweight racing karts are fully automatic and easy for beginners to drive, yet fast enough to challenge professional drivers' skills to the limit.
Each kart is capable of reaching speeds of up to 40 mph.
Grand Prix Format:
- Safety briefing
- Practice laps for every driver before racing
- Four qualifying heats per-driver
- Semi-finals for top scoring drivers
- Grand Prix final for top drivers from semi-finals
- Podium presentation with trophies and bubbly!
Duration:
- Approximately 2 hours, depending on group size.
Notes:
- The track is flood-lit for evening bookings (by appointment only).
- Minimum group size is 12 (min. 10 in off-peak season).
- Groups will have exclusive use of the track during their session.
- The centre is a 10-15 minute train ride or 20 minute drive from the Glasgow city centre.
- The centre is located next to the train station.
