Sailing - The Lake District |

The idea is to keep you as active as possible, so after a 15 minute briefing you will each be put in your own Topper (a small, one-man sailboat) and let loose on the lake at your own peril. This is cracking fun, there’s nothing like watching one of your mates get a bit overconfident in his tacking and jibing and then dumping himself in the drink. (There is a rescue boat and instructors on hand at all times and safety is a prime concern.) As well as this being great fun it’s the ideal way to find if sailing is for you – next stop the Bahamas!
