Overview:
This course is one of the most exhilarating off-roading venues in the Lake District, used regularly by Jeep Chryslers offroad driving team.
Landrovers and Discoverys are driven around a specially designed loop around the quarry. With your group in the vehicle, the instructor will drive you around the course to acquaint you with the basic principles of 4x4 driving. Then you will take it in turns to take to the wheel.
Difficult slopes, near vertical drops and meandering courses through the woodlands, along with man-made obstacles such as a giant see-saw, will test your ability to forget what you have learnt while driving a car and develop new skills such as accelerating down steep slopes to retain grip as you test these rugged vehicles near to their considerable limits.
