Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours? Yes? We thought so! What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile?

Experienced instructors will demonstrate to your group how to use a shotgun safely annd accurately. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accomodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the country air and smoke a few clays, by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not... You'll have a blast!

This activity centre is one of the best in the country in terms of the on site facilites and the big range of quality activities on offer. Rage Buggies:
With speeds of up to 70mph these vehicles will offer you an experience you won't forget! You'll drive these exhilarating vehicles around a large off road course which will push your driving skills to the limit.

You'll learn about controlling over steer and driving off road with the brilliant instructors who will give you top tips on getting the most out of the vehicle. You'll then hit the track in a spectacular team relay against the clock where you'll have to put your foot down against your team mates.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
An all time favourite and guaranteed to produce some hearty tension filled competition. Guns are selected to suit all statures and professional instruction is provided in a practice session with the aim of ensuring that even the most novice marksman is hitting at least every second target by the end of the day. Different trap patterns allow the target 'birds' to be released in various flight modes: across you, along the ground, away and up or straight down the barrel. Hold your nerve in the 10 bird competition and make the clutch shots to get the bragging rights.

Quad Biking:
You will get to drive these fun and testing 125cc Yamaha Breeze quad bikes around a tricky course with roundabouts, slaloms and gates. The team relay is quite spectacular, with penalty points added for missed gates and flag knock downs! These vehicles are a great all rounder and offer everyone a fun and unique driving experience. They are easy to drive as well as offering you the opportunity to learn more about driving off road on these versatile vehicles. The quad biking will be done off-road, in the mud and the grass.

Archery:
If your only experience with archers involves raiding your parents' drinks cabinet as a teenager, it's about time you tried your hand at Robin Hood's favourite method of maiming. Expert instructors will be on hand to talk you through the finer points of the sport so even if you haven't got great hand-eye coordination, with a bit of tuition you should be able to nail the target with regularity... hopefully! Back in the day if you showed a great aptitude for the arrows the instructors would allow you to shoot apples off the top of each other's heads, but that was three hundred years ago, so don't get your hopes up.

- A trophy presentation can be arranged on request.

The site is approximately a 15 minute drive from the centre of Bristol.

Overview:
The instructors take pride in introducing novices to this exciting sport, with the aim of making you a top marksman by the end of the session (well, able to hit the thing anyway). The session will involves using several different types of trap (this affects the path, speed and direction of way the clay flies to simulate the movement of different types of animal; from a duck dropping onto a pond, to a bounding rabbits and  cross flying pigeons). A scoring system is incorporated into the event, to build up the element of competition and provoke after match banter.

Overview:
Join the shooting set at this top drawer shooting school. The area is not only very pretty but provides one of the best backgrounds for clay pigeon shooting, allowing the club to provide excellent targets.

The emphasis is on teaching the basics to novices while keeping the event both fun and competitive. Your group will be divided into teams of between 5 and 7. The teams will then rotate through 3 or 4 different traps, with a few targets practice followed by a mini competition on each. Finally, the teams will all join up for a knockout competition to separate the good from the bad and the ugly and decide who gets the beers in.

Duration:
Approximately 2-2½ hours.
