Overview:
From the top of a deceptively peaceful hill you will get three runs down a hair-raising 1 km bobsled course. Rocketing down the narrow tube at up to 50 km an hour you will find yourself gripping on for dear life as you navigate the tricky twists and turns. Its been described as an experience somewhat akin to steering a bar of soap down an oil slick. For those who love a challenge (and are prepared to risk a bit of skin off their knees and hands), a couple of extra fast sleds are also available.
At a recent Chillisauce bobsled outing the general consensus was that a few friction burns through your jeans is no bad thing and that brakes are for pussies!
A couple of cool down beers are provided for everyone afterwards.
