History and Culture:
Norwich has a lot to offer when it comes to culture and history. There are six theatres, including the puppet theatre, as well as over 30 churches. The city is also famous for being the home of Julian Norwich, the woman who wrote the first book in English, as well as Elizabeth Fry, who worked on improving the prison system for women, and whose picture is on the £5 note. Norwich also has a number of medieval buildings all waiting to be explored.
